You can turn in his Unwavering sword of faith and his Unwavering shield of faith for more exp, he then tells you something along the lines of " Thank you it has been so long since these hands have held there weapons. At this point he is still targetable (red to 63rd) but you cannot attack him by any means that i saw.
The sword drops every time off the Undead footman .. uncommon spawn in west camp southern most static spawn in building.
The shield drops off Lieutenant Junis Bolarin a fairly uncommon spawn he is the middle of the 3 spawns in Eastern most skelly house.
I have also seen the sword drop off the diseased footman (southern most static in east camp) and the shield off of a Skeletal Guardian (not even on illias) that is uncommon spawn in north skelly camp (static on south wall).
First time i turned a set in i turned in amulet pieces to make him turn human then turned in sword/shield once he was human only got exp.
I then tried turning in sword/shield to just the armor version of wandering spirit and got exp and he turned human and despawned in about 10 seconds.
I have not tried to turn in the 2 amulet pieces and sword/shield at same time but will try tonight.

maybe after turning in and him saying he can finally rest you have to kill him?

alright as of 2day this is what the quest entails:
Wandering spirit asks for 2 items:

Righteous amulet of marr
symbol drops from the regular skeletons nearest to Cave in PoV, while the amulet drops from the skeletons closest to Castle.
give both these items to A Wandering spirit at GY and u get xp and that seems to b it. the xp reward is not good or even makes the quest worth doin so i think there is more to it than this. the msg u get when u turn in the items doesn't however hint that there shuld b more to the quest.

I have found the Pendant dropped by the Skellies by the river side near Razorfiend caves. Anyone have a KNOWN location for the Amulet?
The amulet drops off skellies a bit more on the north. Got one from the skellies at the first ruin south east of the main bridhehouse gate.
anyone know what the quest is or the reward for it?

the 2nd piece is a shield off of a named liutenant in a house to the right of the lower entrance (if u r looking at the door).

If you hail him he talks about returning two items to him.
Both items drop off the undead vassels. The first is a symbol something (lore/no drop) that is a common drop off of the vassels near the razorfiend caves.
The second is an amulet of marr (or something like that). I had never seen it drop until I killed an undead vassel from the house to the *right* of the castle entrance (that's most near the water.) It's the only one I've seen so I'm not sure it's a very rare drop or only drops from that area of the zone. I'm guess that area.
The reward was (drum roll please) was about 1% AA of experience!!!!!! Yes you heard me right. Try to stay calm. The quest guy disappears after you turn them in as well.

You forgot to mention you get a flag for doing this quest. I am imagineing you can then go and get your key to AD's area, and then go zone into HoH.
