i handed in the amulet and the crescent after going through the text. he ate them and nothing happened.
same with shield and sword.
it might be bugged at this point

A Wandering Spirit may be found among the gravestones in the graveyard. It /cons red and indifferent to 65. You may target it but not attack.
You say, 'Hail, A Wandering Spirit' A Wandering Spirit groans in extreme anguish. '[Help] me.' You say, 'How can I help?' A Wandering Spirit says 'My resting grounds have been desecrated. I now lie awake unable to rest with my fellow brethren. My soul is bound to this area for all of eternity. Until my [belongings] are brought back I cannot rest.' You say, 'What belongings?' A Wandering Spirit says 'Many different things were taken, but I'm mainly concerned with my [amulet] and my family's crescent symbol. Bring these articles back into my possession and I'll return back to my state of rest.' You say, 'What amulet?' A Wandering Spirit says 'The amulet was given to me after passing the Trials many many generations ago. It is a part of every soldier who has passed the trials, it is a part of my very being.' Hunt "An Undead Vassal" to the west of the graveyard for the "Crescent Symbol of Rhaj." Then hunt northeast of the graveyard for the same "An Undead Vassal" for the "Righteous Amulet of Marr." They are the same mobs in each area, but they have different drop tables. The amulet and crescent are common drops off the respective vassals. On handing in the two items: A Wandering Spirit quickly grabs the amulet and crescent symbol before speaking. 'At long last! I can now rest in peace along with my fellow brethren. Thank you Lanathorn. May the might of Marr follow you wherever you may go.' You gain party experience!! A live version of "A Wandering Spirit" pops after the hand in, but will despawn quickly. Hand in both an Unwavering Shield of Faith (drop from Lieutenant Junis Bolarin) and Unwavering Sword of Faith (drop from An Undead Footman) for additional experience. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

did this at lvl 55 and got around 8% aa exp.wouldnt recomend doing it for exp but was a fun little quest.

I turned in one amulet and got no experience nor any continued dialog; however, I then turned in the sword and the shield (no drop, no stats) to the Spirit, you I received experience and he then will despawn.
Hope this helps for anyone not willing to continue hunting for the two amulets.

Go west from GY and then north along river, you will come to a shack with 4 Undead in there. Kill those and you will get doorman to spawn (drops sword) and named undead (he summons) who drops the shield.
I got a little over 1% AA which was set to 100% AA. This may be best for a lower level character (54 -60) as the only reward was experience.

After you turn in the 2 parts of his amulet he respawns as a human. Once human then you can turn in his Unwavering sword of faith and his Unwavering shield of faith for more exp, he then tells you something along the lines of " Thank you it has been so long since these hands have held there weapons. At this point he is still targetable (red to 63rd) but you cannot attack him by any means that i saw.
The sword drops every time off the Undead footman .. uncommon spawn in west camp southern most static spawn in building.
The shield drops off Lieutenant Junis Bolarin a fairly uncommon spawn he is the middle of the 3 spawns in Eastern most skelly house.
I have also seen the sword drop off the diseased footman (southern most static in east camp) and the shield off of a Skeletal Guardian (not even on illias) that is uncommon spawn in north skelly camp (static on south wall).
