In my last hunt on Luclin, I ended up with no less than 12 of these rings in 3 hours time. They drop much too frequently not to have a quest attached. I have a feeling that there is a faction raising mission out there waiting to be discovered. If anyone finds out more, please let us know.

Not knocking it, a CT ring is great if you can't afford a better ring, and agi does help with AC so you could pair this with a ct or wear two of these to noticible effect at the easy level to get these.
congrats to AgMyles, though i did send this in about 1 month ago =(. Oh well, it's a nice item for anyone who can't afford to pay a chanter to make em a 4 str 4 dex ring (don't know if that's real =} ), and they are a fairly common drop. It's good xp at the camp where they drop, and there are other nice drops, so go there if you can.
BTW! They drop off any Recondite (Bandit, Burgler, Catburgler, etc... ) at the bandit camps (One near Shadowhaven, one along the left wall from there).

Well, no, there's no such thing as a 4 dex 4 str ring. (At least not one made by players, don't know if a mob drops such a thing, but I haven't ever heard of one.) But a silver fire emerald ring is 3 dex 3 str, and a platinum fire emerald ring is 5str 5 dex. (electrum bracelet: 3 str 5 dex, gold bracelet: 5 str 3 dex, velium ring: 6 str 6 dex). Moot point, as a recondite insignia ring has neither strength nor dexterity, don't know why you made that comparison...
Anyway, this is OK for the level of the recondite bandits that drop it, I suppose, although you have to fight higher level things than you do to get a cutthroat insignia ring off of dervishes, and this is the same thing basically, except with agility instead of dexterity.
