Not quite what I meant... I've made four pieces of Mith Marr armor myself; I was just wondering if the gauntlets were more or less difficult compared to the others pieces - did you fail more or less often making the gauntlets, in other words...
I made my first imbued collar at 185 on the first try, failed the bracer three times until I made it at 189. Then I had four fails on boots until I made them at 194. Made the BP at 194 as well after four tries.
Did I mention each failure costs me a 400 plat diamond? :)
But I agree; getting the ore is the hardest part.

LOL, I did seem to get on the the wrong track with the last post.
I was lucky, I succeeded first time on both pairs of gauntlets, the Erollisi Marr ones at around 195 skill, and the ones posted here at 204.
I tend to jump from piece to piece, so if I fail a few times on a bracer, I will have a shot at vambraces. So I have not exactly done any of this in a scientific manner.
I assume that the trivials are staggered like that of the fine plate, just higher of course. So gauntlets are harder to make then bracers etc. But with the luck I had with the guantlets and the multiple failures with bracers... :)

The imbued field plate is harder to make then fine plate. what with having to get my paws on the HQ ore, collecting the mugs of seafoam, and fishing for the saltwater seaweed.
I started my attempts at making it at skill 190 and am presently at 205. My success rate is approximately 50% to 75% depending on the piece, that's with 200 wis and 91 int.
But the armour is well worth the effort, I am wearing a full visible suit (minus the helmet) as well as a belt and cloak. Imbued for Erollisi Marr of course :) With +4 wis for each piece, it excellent armour for a cleric.
The Rodcet Nife armour I have been making lately is for a cleric friend, who has been supplying the ore and the imbued opals.

Congrats on these gaunts as well... were they as much of a pain to make like fine plate and banded gauntlets were compared to the other pieces in their respective sets?
