Okay. So anyone who wants get to use our (post) ultimate form illusion as a Spectre , but we just get some ugly, stupid, creepy looking Zombie illusion?
As a 90 NEC, I always will cast Illusion: Spectre on my pet
and I'd remove the dumb look of our Iksar-illusion Lich that we get
So to find a quest that offers a stupid Zombie illusion pisses me off; they look horrible! I've been looking for a cool illusion form but havent found one yet. In the meantime, I'll just stack my Arch Lich or Demi Lich illusions on when I play....

The Spectre sound is annoying as can be

I tought i saw something about this being an all / all item clicky for zombie illusion?
the mask is all/all , spectre illusion.
this item is offered to NECs only, because the spectre illusion does not Stack with their lich spell, so the dev that wrote the quest put in this item as well so that NECs still got some sort of illusion, but for their pet isntead.

Why does this have to be a clicky?I would have been happy with a spell scroll but whatever.Necros can solo this whole quest in less then a week (maybe even an afternoon)depending on the drop rate of armor.

anyone know if this grants Lich for Necro version?
This is strictly an illusion for your pet. The mask turns you into a spectre but doesn't give you lich either.
Are you sure?
Looking at the raw spell data and it says :Illusion(self)
Very sure. Have friends who have this (I'm not 75 yet so can't use mine, grrr....) but it is for your pet only.

This casts the zombie illusion I believe. And if it does, is it somethin we can cast on ourselves while in lich? Wish we could cast it on our pet though.
OK, this is the item to get for casting zombie illusion on your pet only.
