Since there are 2 different rocks.. ok, jewels you can use, they also produce the different results. At least I think so. Don't know with what stone this one was made, but perhaps when it's made with another stone, it will add STR and DEX.
It's a neat sword, if not the weight.. But then again, it's weight is not comparable to WS and thus it's OK. Though I can tell that some fights with dual wielding these babies and taking on in a row about 4-5 mobs, you definately need some invigoring spell from a friendly grouped priest type caster :-). Lighter weapons already drain you nicely, take SSoY (4.5) and Howling Haproon (6.5) and a fight with, say, 5 sarnak recruits.. Stamina, where are you? :-)
If your stamina is above 100...losing all that yellow has NO effect on your weapon speed. This is easily tested. Whether it has effects on how often you hit or get hit...i havnt noticed being any less efficient when I have no stamina.
When your yellow bar is at 0 your sta, agi, str, dex, and I don't know what else, all get large negative effects, I think somewhere around -20. This gives you less hp, less ac, and you hit for less, its usually smart not to let your sta run out while fighting. I use a wurmslayer sometimes, and usually like to invigor myself if I've got more than one mob.
Please read his statement.. He said if your stamina is a 100 or more, then it does not have any effect. Which is correct. Well sort of.. If your char is of a race/class combo (normally some class a Dwarf, Barbarian, Troll, or Ogre can be) where their base stamina at 95 or higher, then running completely out of your yellow bar has no effect on your other stats. Your attack speed will slow a bit, and you cannot jump or run as fast, but it will not lower str, agi, or dex. Please do not flame if you have not tested it. Of course if you do test it, then there is no concern about anyone coming back to flame. 8^)
The other version of this sword (which I have not made yet) is allegedly +2str, +2 dex, with the same basic stats. I don't know how the two are distinguished, although I DO know the difference in smithing recipes.
I wouldn't sell mine for love or money at the moment. Considering I lost 3 enchanted large bricks of ore in a normal forge way back when enchanting still required jacinths, and I had to attempt this weapon 4 times to succeed once... It cost about, oh, 5k plat to make this first one.
However, now it could be made for 100 to 300pp depending on whether you adventured for the ore, or bought it from vendors, or bought it from players. Would you buy this sword for 200pp?
