Was made one of these by a friend on Terris-Thule (thanks Skrabian!) It is the only cultural armor that a human smith can make for a bertox following gnomish-cleric.
On myself, it appears as a deep red, however, GNOMES have been removed from classes who can wear!!! (happened round the time gnomes could become SKs)
Dunno if any other pieces have changed, but hopefully its just a bug to be fixed

Ummmm, I'm an evil gnome and my deity is Bertoxullous
FYI, Bertox worshippers do NOT start out KOS to Qeynos guards. You end up KOS to them only if you do quests to lower Good Guards faction.
Listen up. Faction raising is EASY AS PIE. It is very easy to raise positive faction with both Bloodsabres, Good Guards and Corrupt Guards.
Kill any gnoll, it raises your Qeynos Guards faction.
Turn in Moonstones to the guy in the Fish's Ale and you get positive Qeynos faction, without lowering ANY faction.
Do the crate quest (evil version) from Guard Weleth, and you will raise faction with Good Guards, Corrupt Guards, as well as Bloodsabres.
Do the Milea Clothspinner quest (you kill her) and you will raise Corrupt Guards and Bloodsabres, altho you will lower faction with Steel Warriors (the goody good warrior faction that guards the Arenas) ....so be careful of doing this too much.
Kill more gnolls if you need to get back on good terms with Qeynos Guards.
I'm not even human. Im a gnome necromancer who serves Bertox. I ended up being indifferent to good Guards, amiable to Corrupt Guards, and kindly to Bloodsabres guild in the Catacombs.

The only people that I'm on bad terms with are those pansies from the clerics/paladins that serve Rodent Night. You only worry about these pansies when you walk into their part of town.

Hmmm. I'd expect a higher disease resist from an item dedicated to Bertoxx. Not a bad piece of plate, I expect.
I find it odd, though, that its made in Freeport, as the Bloodsabers base themselves in the Qeynos Catecombs. Possibly its for just that reason (the forge in Qeynos is in the center of town, and the Bloodsabers aren't well liked.)

although field plate must be made in freeport and full plate in qeynos, there is no restriction as to what human worshipped god may be imbued upon them.
Good point. But I wish they thought it through a little better. For instance, I do'nt know the schedule of the guards in Qeynos like some do, but it would make perfect sense to have some hours (probably at night) where only Corrupt Guards will be guarding the forge. Since the Bloodsabers and Kane Bayle (or Commander Kane as he's known in the Bertoxx temple) are allied, anybody with good Bloodsaber faction should have good Corrupt Guard faction.

If you can afford to train smithing to the level you need to make this you can buy some invis potions :)
