Someone plz correct me if I'm wrong but this looks pretty useless to me... you get one better heal AFTER the mob is dead and ONLY if you get the killshot?!

Haven't you heard about soloing.
Yes during a raid it's useless and grouping it isn't over effective, although it can have its uses there, however when soling this spell is great.

Try soloing in the boneyard in Direwind. Increasing the effectiveness of your next heal can be extremely beneficial. Increased heal means possibly less downtime to med
