I used one of these as a range item for a Ranger, Warrior, and a Monk...all in their 60's. Was cheap and had stats comprable to range items costing 10's of thousands more. The 70's one is not bad either. Both are better range items then MANY for sale in Bazaar.
I have made the misstake of throwing it so be sure your belt is set up right. You can throw this from the "Range" slot, it doesn't have to be in ammo to throw. Just a warning. Great Rng. pc.

it seems such a waste to throw something you will not get back with such nice stats. I can also just imagine how much they must cost!!!!!!! Maybe just put it in your range slot and never throw it.
These are trivial at 82 Smithing or Fletching and do not require expensive or hard to find materials.
Some people do, in fact, just buy 1 as a range item they never throw but some people use them to pull with or even for damage.
