or can you even do both together? An enchanted platinum, rodcet imbued helm...anyone?
Field Plate, which is the Freeport Human Cultural Plate armor, cannot be enchanted -- only the Qeynos Full Plate can be enchanted. However, the ingredients for the Sea Temper Field Plate smithing requires is much easier to get than those for the Royal Temper (Saltwater Seaweed and Mug of Sea Foam vs Griffenne Blood and Rainwater respectively).

The griffenne blood and rainwater are easy to get. The difficult drop for Royal Temper is the rare essence of sunlight from Sand Giants and some wyverns in Skyfire.

I Believe you craft it together as you normally would, BUT with an Imbued Gem <grins>
