Scars of VeliousAt level 60 I have 211 wisdom without trying. I always look for items to get rid of wis and add mana. This bracer is easy to get, has great AC and +mana. Once you are 60, +wis is no longer an issue. Actually you are looking to dump wisdom and gain +mana/AC. I use this and JBB until i get a Camii's.

This bracer is top of the line. In order to get a Kael Bracer you have to get the drop outta Temple of Veeshan. Thats a 55+ zone. If you have the manpower to go there you should already have epic (+20wis) or be close to it. And I will bet theres not a shaman out there who doesnt have max wis (when they want it) if they have the epic. The best thing about this bracer is 17 AC. Thats NICE ac. And every self-respecting shaman knows when you slowing mobs you need AC =)

First off, this isn't a bad bracer. This bracer kind of assumes you already have high wisdom though, as many lvl 57+ shaman do.
So if you arranged your equipment so that you had 197 wisdom this would be a very good bracer, even if you only use the effect after getting ressed.

So, if you already have 197 wisdom, then 15 ac 2sta and 15 mana part of this would be very good.
Personally I think they shoulda put more wisdom on this, but that may be just because I have low base wis.

Have you seen any of the other pieces (or sets) with that big of a difference? Champions(Thurg) Breastplate vs Warlords(Kael) The difference between the two (for warriors btw) are 2ac, and 10SvCold on the Warlords vs 10SvPoison on the Champions. Oh, and Iksars can wear Warlords. They designed the 4 new sets of Velious armor (PoG, Thurgadin, Kael, Skyshrine) to be basically the same so that anyone could get the new armor no matter which factions they decided to *****/preserve.
Friggin people always complaining.....yeah mayeb they should throw a complete heal spell on with no delay and make all the stats 99. Dont whine no oen likes a whiner. They could have said ***** you and made it even crappier.

Why should they have made it worse? This is planar dude. This is the lvl 60 standard. This isn't some hokey popular item like Runed Mithril Bracers.
See the bad thing about shamans is they need a LOT more wisdom to max out than any other casters need to max out their mana.
3wis 15 mana part of this bracer = very crappy
7int from golden bracer for pure caster = very good.
Why punish us for being lvl 60? We pay their bills Mr EverLoser.

i wear jbb and spirit callers. i upgraded to spirit callers from rune etched..gained 6 raw ac for losing only 2 wis. comes out to about 9 ac total, darn nice trade, 2 wis for 9 ac imo..
