Just exit the tutorial, go buy the tome's and the axe component's, camp and reenter the tutorial.

Seems the Bers Axe tomes can't be found in Glooming Deep. There are 3 tomes useable by the time you get level 10 in Glooming Deep and none can be found there. That seems sad that Bers can't have them to work on while there.
