Well... I have to agree that this is pretty lame. I wear 2 serpentine bracers at level 20 (which i bought for 50 plat each with my own money...) and those are pretty much better than these, except int he AC. I bet the other killer stats of the serp's equals this much AC anyway.

But Iksar can't wear Serpentine Bracers, now can they, hmmm? For the Iksar, this item isn't bad. Not worth the large ammount of effort to get them, but better than most IKS Monk armbands.

Ahhh yes, iksars may not be able to wear serp bracers but they do have a little thing known as shackle quests. True the first few shackles aren't much to look at, but the higher up quests result in some very nice bracers. =)
I don't agree withe the lvl 20 dude about a serp bracer being better than this. At My lvl 48 human monk still has 2 serp bracers(may god have mercy on my soul) and when I remove one of them my ac only goes down by 2(that would be the result of 1ac and 9agi). Good old ac on an item is always nice, you have to add tons to agi to get the same effect. Resists only get more important with every mob I pull, and the pouch effect is very nice, we could always use some nice shurikens and another weight reducing bag. Anyway, I'm not saying this is the best wrist item out there by any stretch of the imagination, but if I had the quest items to get it then I would certainly wear it.
