drop off a saltwater croc at an ancient croc in Upper guk. I identified and it said "Item Lore: Rune of Scale (top)".

^^ This is important. It only drops off the ones by the AC. Don't waste your time with the ones near the entrance. If someone is camping it, just ask them and they will probably let you loot it.

You get one rune of scale off of a saltwater croc in Guk, one off of a deepwater croc in Oasis, and the last rune off a lava croc in lavastorm. Don't forget you have to have a lizardscale cloak to also complete the quest.

Three diffrent crocs drops the runes. Why dont u check them out to see if the other 2 crocs drop the runes that are needed.

I just got one of these and noticed druid class has been added along with wiz, does anyone know why or what for?
I too noticed that "DRU" was added to the classes on this item. I picked it up in Upper guk while camping the AC, maybe its for a future quest or one that noone knows about yet

If you cast Identify, there may be differences between the runes that the normal description does not communicate.. Just like the 10 silver coins and many other items.

when i loot the croc and already has one how do you get three then what the loot does as it say you already have one and it discard the one you loot ( not fair ) then what do you do with it then if you are not on quest ?

if i get one and cant trade it or give to someone then whom do i give it to in freeport ? a npc ?

If you have done other quests that ask for the same thing, you will know that the names are exactly the same, but the actuall item is not. So it is possible to loot them all.

In the quest description it says you need 3 runes. These runes are LOre how the hell do you get three?
