When placing Augments on gear. The ones that say slot it fixs will go to the lowest first if it has more then two slot types it can fix. That is if the slot type is empty, also. If you have type that fixs any, it will fill lowest type first. (sample: slot type 1 empty, slot type 7 empty, slot type 8 empty. An any slot type would fill slot type 1 first. An slot type 7 and also slot type 8 on same augments will fill slot type 7 first if it is empty.) Hope that was of some help.
Ok now i need some real advise on augmenting this bad boy. Because i am 2 wins away from owning one but this will take all but a few hundred of my AP i want to know about puting in Augs. If i have an aug which will fit to any slot which one will it jump to first? Will it (and i hope) go to the type 1 slot like going down the row or will it start coverign up the coveted type 3 slot! I need to know this cause i plan on buying cheapest aug of a 10wis first which is any slot type. Then a type 2 of 40hps then a type 3 of FT2 and putting them in that order since that is the way i will save up for them like that for my Paladin. But if i over write my type 3 slot that would suck as i would have to erase a decent aug and start over just wonderign what the down low was from someone wwho knows.
Just get some rot augs (like cha) from LDoNs and fill up all 3 spots, then remove the one from what ever slot you want to aug. It will cost like 10pp per slot but big deal.
Thought I would add that since the 10 wis aug is any type that would mean it can go on almost any item ldon or not. right? If so it would be a waste of a type 2 slot to use it on this BP. If that is true I would put the 10 wis on something non ldon and find a couple of nice type 2's to use on this.
There is a nice aug that is chest only type 3. +5 to regen, 510 points in north ro. That i would suggest adding. There is also an aug with Guard 3 from north ro, if you tank alot thats perfect for you.
You must have earned 1492 points at this camp, before you can purchase this item. However, the points youSPEND don't have ot be from here. Say yuo earn 1492 points ehre, and 3k in Mistmoore. You could come here, and buy 3 pieces of the royal attendant armor.
However, if you only had 1300 points here, you could buy NONE, even if you had 8k total points.
i was just being stupid playing around with magelo, decided to stick this on my lvl 28 clerics alt profiles and stats were still decent, magelo seems to be a pretty accurate way to check stats at reduced lvls if you cant get your hands on a link in game.
I am going straight for this BP i will be making deviations to get grps when no one wants to do NRO but i really want this BP... That said i think its really cool that once i finish 30 adventures in NRO i dont ever have to go back there again to buy things! I can live my life in Mistmoore which i love (go Slay Undead) and Everfrost (woot Flying monkeys) because i find that NRO is the most annoying of all the dungeons. I mean its ok not to hard but i find that the MoB placement in slaughters is much trickier to pull. Me and this monk took turns using all our tricks to pull in there and we both had same results when its good only 1 or 2 come but some rooms are just stacked where your gonna get 3-5 mobs no other way to break with you pacify/lull puller. And the main thing is there are way more Tash/Dispell mobs in this camp than any where i have been in. So i think its cool that i just have to succeed in 30 missions then i can bank all the points i want in Mistmoore or Everfrost enjoying the dungeons i like best while working on getting my Arms and Legs from this set. I have heard a few insane people tell me the like this dungeon best because of layout but its not for me what do you guys think about this?
Doh forgot to mention above Me is a 65th lvl Paladin hehe for pulling. And i havnt tried bankign points that high but it works for Everfrost which ive made 3 succesfull only there and now whenever i have 3 successes in any other of the places i go to i can buy stuff from Everfrost up to the points i have achieved there. so in theory when i get 30 wins i can afford anything 1500 or lower in AP from AP from any camp.
Not sure how to single pull here. I always pull 2-5 at a time. Mezz is your friend =)
Edit: Sorry I lied. Got to thinking and realized that we always single pull the named in assassination missions. Enchanter has a stalking probe ( eye of zomm ) and sends it in to target mobs for pacification. We only do this on named though.
Paladin and cleric can pacify also. My 61 cleric uses Wake of Tranquility in LDoN a lot, even when we have our chanter along, because LDoN seems to tax her mana worse than mine. Plus I have about twice the HP and AC, so if its resisted I can take a few hits while she mezzes.
Paladins can only Pacify Mobs level 55 and below. If you want to save any points fast your going to be 65 when you do LDON, and a Paladin Pacify wont land on anything. Now if you had 58's in the group MAYBE half the mobs would be pacifyable by a pally.
the october 9th patch changed the aug slots to type 1, 2, and 3.... not 2 2 3... the oct 10th message says that some ldon armors that were changed in the ldon oct 9th patch will be changed back, but will no longer be available... so i would expect a "new" bp with the 1 2 3 slots in it... ill confirm once servers come up
damn 2nd time typing i accidently erased it all..... as i was saying at lvl 52 itd take about 597 adventures to get full set... but in all reality i would had mad 65 by then and would have gotten it all in bout 300 or so
The 1492 pt armor from LDON is somewhere between Ornate Armor and Elemental Armor. The LDON stuff is better than the Ornate stuff especially with the extra augment slots but even augments don't seem to push it past Elemental Armor.
Based on that fact and the fact that the other elemental peices are a lot easier to get than the elemental BPs, I think this item is a bargain.
This great BP has no graphics, you look, like naked. I really hope, that soe only forgot the graphic and will include it and that it isn't a new way of a joke :) It has nice stats sure, but everyone you talking to, is thinking that you are running around naked, without bp, so I never would wear it like it is atm :(
I'm just wondering why they would put a recommended lv on this? You earned it if you have it so shouldnt you get full benifit?
I know some of you would be like "A lv 20 could get this and it wouldnt be fair cause he would be too good" maybe but form what i was thinking is if he worked his *** off to get enough points for this(would take months i think lol) he should be able to have full benifits of this IMHO. And im not complaing about stats or anything because this BP is probally what ill end up saving my points for as a newly 51 Bard 8 ) thnx in advance for good replies
Legosus, off topic but on your magelo profile you have (2) Shamshir of the Deciple, which are ARTIFACT's, meaning 1 per server. And where do you find heavy bard gear? jw
This to Rokken, I "do" have 2 Shamshir of Disciple and artifact doesnt always mean 1 per server IT can mean 1 pair per server or such but I do have 2 and can confirm this if you ever want to make a char on BB and send me a tell.
A ranger in My guild Started doing LDoN exclusevly at level 30. She is now in the top 10 list for Mistmoore dungeon, is about to ding 55, and has nowhere near enough points to purchase this. I"m thinking its a moot point, as in order to earn the points, you WILL be able to level to 65. I guess its possible to stop at 51, and funnel all your exp to AA, but even at 51, the stats on this would be pretty decent.
Even at lvl 65 it would take 30 successes all in Takish to get this. So even if you started collecting points for this right at lvl 20 and conviced everyone to Always group with you in Takish you would be lvl 33 or 34 after 30 successes if you were perfect. However between those level you get points from 1-4 max between those lvls and would be lucky to have your first 100ap by this point. In reality, I am quite certain that even if you tried to go straight for this right at lvl 20 you would be at least lvl 60 by the time you got this(unless of course you had a thing for delevelling or went all AA at lvl 52). So IMO the recommended lvl seems very reasonable to me.

Ya that ture, at level 53 i'm getting only about 20 point an Adventure. It would take me about 75 adventures to get it at this rate. At level 20, i would think the point per adventure would be a lot less then what i'm getting at 53.
Actually, a level 20 would never get this (aside from dying many, many times to delevel). By the time someone starting at lvl 20 would have been through enough dungeons to have the points, they would have dinged several times.
But I also think it would be nice to have at least a lower recommended level. At least it's not a required level. But with the spells I need to buy, it'll be a while before I can afford this. :(
Don't bash the number of points needed, this stuff is a nice reward for doing some dungeon crawls between raids. Elemental is still better, but there are some nice aug slots on these items which can give you a greater variety of effects.
How many points do you get for completing the "quests" the NPC's give out? I've looked at the whole set and it seems awesome for any class that can use it ... IMO this whole set looks very easy to get ... but then again I don't have LoY or any knowledge of the expansion.
I've found that the points you get will vary depending on your level and that of the rest of your group. My 65 SK gets 51 points for completing a normal mission. My 58 enchanter gets 40 points for completing a normal mission while grouped with ALL level 65 players.
I'm not sure if 40 is the base for 58, or if it's merely a penalty of being "carried" by 5 level 65s.
its the BONUS you get for making it thru a lvl 65 adventure. At level 59, with groups ranging from mid 50's to 60, I get 20-21 points per adventure, for regular difficulty adventures.
Sure you are getting less than the lvl 65s, but more than you would if you were with an equal level group.
Agreed. I get less points when I'm the high man at 57 then when I'm grouped with players all around my level, and the rest of the group had fewer points than me. The one time I grouped with several players in the 60's I get a few more points than usual. I'm convinced the points rewarded are determined by the difficulty you chose(obviously), your level AND your group's average level.
I am a 58 warrior and i have done lots of dungeons with friends. I at lvl 58 got 60 points for a dungeon with...65 sham, 65 cleric, 65 rog, 65 wiz, 63 mage, and me. I cant even imagine the bonus if we all were 65. Anyways there is a reduction in points for everyone if one person is under lvl 60...
