Ok, you dont think chloroplast is good enough what kind of effect do you want ? 1000 point DD ?
i personaly think its great, no druid would ever give chloroplast to every group member at its current mana cost, but with this item keep em all freshed up at no mana cost.

What do I want?

No offense, but you have no idea what you're talking about. First off, Druids get pack chloroplast which gives everyone in the group chloroplast for 400 mana. 400 mana isn't that much either, you regain it quickly enough.

Second, Chloroplast isn't that useful to anyone except Necros and Shamen for their HP to Mana spells. It's too slow to heal tanks during or after a fight (clerics heal them anyways).

Personally, I'd like something more useful group wise. For me, any one of these spells would be better:

Legacy of Spikes
Shield of Thorns
Any Evac or Wind Spell

This is a increadable item, and as for the price, its pricless-to rare to be sold. IF u think your ignog to be able to buy one of these u are fing nuts, its SUPER rare and when it drops its been taken down by a BIG STRONG guild-now u cant tell me that that guild dosnt have a slew of druids just like all do. As for stats being sucky? wonder what that person is wearing. kael armor is yes, AWSOME but have u seen what it takes to get that stuff? thats compleatly random and needed to be done on raids, tahts a pure luck shot.

I'm wondering if there is a minimum level for the effect to occur, like on the ES arms with Drones.

All ES stuff, and all Kunark Class specific items for that matter, require level 45 to use.

This is a good question, I also have the arms and they dont let you use them untill 45. I hope if I can get this before 45 and use it lol. Any answer would be nice.

Would you idiots shut up already stop comparing items to higher grade items and stop commenting on how much an item sucks or rocks, all items are useful to someone at some point. U read these boards to get iinfo on where an item drops and how rare it is or how much it goes for, not to hear you idiots ******** about overpowered druids.

Why is it that all Druids think about is Becoming "UBER" ... if VI doesn't see fit to make you God-Like ... you think they are ******** you. Do you really wanna sit and mem a regen everytime it is needed? you are telling me you would NEVER use a FREE regen if you had this BP? STFU ... Effects on items, esp ones that are High Level Spells and unlimited charges are AWESOME .. because they fill in and make your life a little easier. Geesh ... you have no right to complain anyhow .. what effects do Mages get on like 70% of all their Items?? Oh yeah ... Reclaim Energy. Stop whining and use your tiny brains to find a use for something instead of Whining because VI doesn't give you a BP with +100mana-regen on it and a right clickable 20000pt DD ...

Not all of us want "uber" I use Regen all the time...I would love this! I use the arms 2 to 3 times a kill unless im on the plains :) please don't use "all" in statements....:) thanks

First off , this is basically for druids with 200+ wisdom or druids with 191 wisdom and need that 9 wisdom. That +80 mana is ALOT. I cant believe yall would say this BP sucks.... It is hella better than a vermiculated tunic. Check this out , Vermiculated tunic is what ... 14 wisdom? 13? Anyway , wisdom 9 And 80 mana is 17 wisdom all together and it's even better than a 17 wisdom BP if , wanna know why? Because by the time you get this BP , youll have atleast 200 wisdom.... Good luck on getting this nice item , it is ultra rare and THAT'S the reason why you dont see many druids with it.

ok first of all 80 mana is 8 wis + 9 wis is 17 wis vermiculated is only 13

80 mana is only 8 wis at level 50, at lower levels it is worth more wis than that, at level 1 it would be worth 400 wis, at level 2 it would be worth 200 wis, at 5 it would be worth 80 wis, and so on, at 60, it would only be worth 6 and 2/3 wis. so watch your math there.

If clicky works at level 1 this would be uber for a twinkie.

I like this item because i can't kill the dragon currently, but i can BUY this item ... and it's the better item for druid i see which is not no drop ... and because of this it become really good ... but i agree than for a lvl 50 who can get the vermiculated, he will prefere it :-) the chloroplast ... lol, not really usefull :-) ... a lvl 44 can cast it without a lot of mana ... at lvl 50, you can cast it without any mana problem.

And the Kael armor quest are REALLY better than this, this item is only good because it is tradable

It makes a druid look like a ranger, sorta like Ivy Etched only more dark green.

I agree with the original poster, but I'd change it so it looks like this.

"Gimme gimme a better effect on this item, since it's CRAP."

Synopsis: Chloroplast is a level 44 druid spell that a druid NEVER casts by 49. By the time most druids get this, if ever, they will be level 55+, with Regrowth, which is much better than Chloroplast, making this effect useless.

Most Druid I hunt with that have Chloroplast use that spell and another thing with the Breastplate it cost NO MANA

People have said the same thing about the elder spiritist vambraces, but I have to say they are one of the items I use the most. Low on mana and need some healing? Toss out a free chloroplast so that 'chanter or cleric and regain hps after the tank pulls the mob away. It isn't a primary heal, but does a lot of hps when the PC isn't being smacked around. Or if you are chain pulling, chloro can keep em healed up to full if they're just taking 20% damage or so per pull. Who needs group regen when these are free for the casting? Same with the ES vambraces, not the primary means of use, but nice be able to do extra damage with no mana cost at all. Out of mana? Dot and med up. Puller incoming and you're in healer mode? dot em for the extra damage.

Exactly and well the ac is nice too...unless you depend on shiled of bramble as your primary damage spell......
