I just picked up one of these sweet items for my 21 chanter on Tribunal for around 1400p

I have no clue about this focus effect.
This focus effect is nice, and it does work on spells that use more than one reagent. I use blessing of aegolism quite a bit and equip my runed mithril bracer when I do, when it works it saves me 1 of the 4 peridots needed to cast the spell.

Just a note, all the robes can be worn by anyone. Just because an Erudite has to ask for the pattern and then combine the items doesn't mean that an Erudite has to wear it. Look at the races that can wear this and the oehter new robes? That's right it's ALL. Go get a robe from one of the other races, or get a lesser robe and stop whining.

Dumb, the last poster is. Reagent conservation is a very valuable focus. Guess you never played an enchanter. What does reagent conservation 3 do? It allows you to cast spells that have a component cost to them to have a chance of not using a component when casted up till level 60 spells. Guess what spells that an enchanter has that they use constantly summon pet, tiny daggers, and Rune 4, 5, peridots. This will save you lot of money in the future cause your not constantly buying new reagents.
