Scorpions in the pit surrounding Shar Vahl.
Go to the extreme outside edge of either bridge (north or south) and climb down the wall. Inside the pit spawns scorpions, young rockhoppers, needle clawed rock hoppers, grimling runts, etc. These all drop the items needed for many of the quests in Shar Vahl. Well, at least the lower level ones.
