The spells stack, but the haste doesn't.

The spells stack because Vallons also has ATK and stat buffs.

Anyone know if this potion effect would stack with other haste spells/songs or if it can bring haste above cap?
huh what?

Okay if you click on the Effect "Flurry" it takes you to the spell info screen and stats that another item with the same effect is -- "A Vial of Tamed Mercury" which is a lower trivial potion.

Now, I was of the understanding that the effects of the potions were either hard coded to the item (ie aura potions) OR was based on the level of the drinker (ie DS potions).

This begs the question of how Haste is added as a potion. By reading the info here, one would assume that this potion would be pointless as the Vials of Tamed Mercury would be much more economical for the effect. I do not have the utility to show the spdat.eff info here at work to see if there is more than one version of "Flurry".

If you look at Lucy data on items, there is a "level for effect". This is what determines the potency of effects, and is tied to the item, not the user or creator.

For clickies, the item is considered the caster.

The Haste from this Potion lasts longer and is slightly faster than the Haste from "A Vial of Tamed Mercury" Potion.

See the Shaman's Crucible or EQTraders for more info.

Comfrey, Dhea. Trivial is 170, which means that you will need to be atleast level 55 with maxed alchemy to have a chance of making this with any success. Duration is supposedly about 5 min, and the ingredients run about 60pp. No idea if potion haste is considered spell haste, so if anyone can post how this stacks with songs/items/spells would be appreciated.

From my experience with other potions, they are considered spells for stacking purposes. So this would be considered spell haste and would not stack with chanter/shaman haste spells.

It would still stack with item haste, and with the bard stacking haste songs (Battlecry and Warsong of the Vah Shir).

Yer exactly right, Calli.

Potions are just spells-in-a-bottle. This potion does not stack with, say, Alacrity or any Chanter hastes, but does stack with item and Bard hastes.
