OR .... maybe some int chars have maxxed out and have room for a free slot. Usually the case in the high game.
These comments are like saying that if an item doesn't have strength, then it shouldn't go to a warrior. (Rediculous)
Why wis? Well ... because it helps failures in trade skills, the extra mana and hp are also a nice addition (the mana converts to xtra damage nicely with a Manaburning wizard).
Yes .. they are "int" casters, but that doesn't mean that other stats are not important. Learn to expand your knowledge of other classes (or your own) before trying to decide what items are or are not good for them.

But even if the casters have hit the soft cap, +5 int is going to make more of difference to trade skills than +5 wis (i.e. int of 255 is gonna make more of a difference than an int of 250 and a wis of 90...just look at how tradeskills are figured purely from higher wis or int). And unless VI changed the frormula after you hit the soft cap every 1 pt of int you have puts 1 more pt into mana. And besides there are much better caster items than that at 45.

Wisdom? For int casters? Why? Is it just to be annoying?
Maybe Verant doesn't think there's enough Junk equipment for sale in the bazaar yet?
