Besides EverQuest, what other MMORPGs have you played?
Haven't played any others.

How did you find out about EverQuest, and when did you begin playing?
I found out about EverQuest from my best friend in high school, and I started at the end of October 2004.

Do you know anyone in real life who plays EverQuest?
My best friend quit EQ, but another friend from high school still plays.

How did you come up with your main character's name?
I couldn't think of a name, so I just kept clicking the name generator.

What factors affected your choice of race / class for your main character?
My friend thought I might the monk class and the benefits of being an Iksar outweighed the exp penalty.

About how often do you play EverQuest, and how long is a typical playing session for you?
I usually play at least a little every day, often for several hours.

How do you spend your time in game?
Mostly doing quests, either solo or groups, occasionally farming for clickies or spells. Every so often, however, I do try to get a group and grind out some AA.

What other class/race combinations have you levelled past 35?
Iksar Necromancer, level 53.

Approximately how much of the EverQuest world have you experienced?
I've probably been to 85% of the zones, but many I've simply run through them, not truly experiencing them.

What is your favourite expansion?
Probably Kunark because of the Iksar, although I've liked the last few expansions a lot.

What is your least favourite expansion?
LoY. Just about the only thing I really needed from it was Dulak for my 1.5.

What is your favourite zone?
Txevu, for the background music.

What is your favourite NPC?
Magus Alaria and the gnomes in the Guild Hall, for transportation and selling aug distillers.

What is your favourite raid encounter (if different from NPC)?
Uqua. A lot of it is about how pullers control the mobs coming to the raid.

If the war between Firiona Vie and Lanys T`Vyl erupted again, which side would you take?
Lanys T`Vyl.

Describe your most memorable moment or proudest accomplishment in game.
Making a comment about the existence of GMs when one was in our Tacvi instance, nearly getting one-rounded by a Zun without having touched it, then getting a tell saying 'Hello Gensis' from the same GM. Believe the conspiracy!

What is the largest amount of platinum you have ever had at one time, and how did you go about accumulating it?
150k. I got it from selling Discordant Scoriae and placing in the top 3 in a Scavenger Hunt on Coup's 1 year anniversary.

What are some things you would change or implement in order to improve EverQuest?
Slow the pace of expansions and fix bugs, from semi-new going back.

What types of spells, skills, disciplines, and/or alternate abilities would you like to see added to your class?
Giving monks run 11 and triple attack as a skill instead of innate chance with a chance to make a quad attack would be nice.

If you were responsible for organizing and running a GM event, what would it be and how would it play out?
Some type of PvP with NPCs mixed in on teams. Two sides with various models to choose from, maybe a race like in Devastation. NPCs would spawn and wander toward the opposing base, whichever team kills the other side's permarooted commander wins. To prevent high end characters from annihilating everybody, I'd have low level, under 20, only and buffs to beef everybody up. The prize would be something nifty, and the winner can choose which character on their account to claim it, so it'll be worth making an alt for it.

If you had to start over from scratch, what race/class combination would you choose?
I might try a shadow knight, definitely Iksar.

How do you describe EverQuest to your coworkers or computer-illiterate friends?
"A game where you create your character and pick your class and you can do just about anything you want in this world."

What is next for you in the world of EverQuest?
Work through the Curse of Blood raids and finish what TSS tasks I can.
