Length of Time in Guild: About 5 and a half months, now Real World Location: Florida! Career / Employment Industry: Career? I work at the family car dealership, taking pictures. Hobbies: Playing EQ, Reading, Watching TV, Playing PS2, working at the family business when required. Family? 2 sisters, and, of course, my mom and dad. Besides EverQuest, what other MMORPGs have you played? I've played EQ2 and WoW.. WoW is horrible, I didnt even play more than a week.. entirely too "EasyModeOn" .. EQ2 is actually a decent game, pretty fun.. I just didnt have the ability to juggle working on my characters in EQ1 and EQ2, so I quit EQ2. How did you find out about EverQuest, and when did you begin playing? My grandmother actually played it before anyone, and she got my mom and I in to it. Do you know anyone in real life who plays EverQuest? My mother, and one of her friends.. my father used to play, but he quit due to not having time anymore, with running a business. How did you come up with your main character's name? Originally, I was Darkj, and that name came about from.. well.. being a Dark-Elf rogue and my name begins with "J" .. I wasnt very creative at the time.. and when I needed to make a new one, I just tossed an H in there, "Dharkj"! Brilliant, I know. What factors affected your choice of race / class for your main character? Well, my first main was a wood-elf warrior.. and when I made a rogue, I decided they were an evil class, and figured I should pick an evil race for him, thus my Dark-Elf Rogue was born! About how often do you play EverQuest, and how long is a typical playing session for you? Heh, I play entirely too much.. I have nothing else to do, so a typical play session lasts anywhere from 8 - 10 hours, I'm a loser =( How do you spend your time in game? Raiding, Grouping with friends / guildies, tradeskilling.. trying to duo & solo stuff I KNOW I cant do. =p What other class/race combinations have you levelled past 35? Drakkin Monk, 68; Dark-elf Cleric, 79 * I 2 box him *; Dark-elf rogue, 70 (original rogue); High-elf Cleric, 60; Dark-elf Enchanter, 55; ANOTHER Dark-elf Enchanter, 56 (and rising); Dark-elf Shadowknight, 45; High-elf Paladin, 45; Froglok Shaman, 70; Half-elf Ranger, 67... and that's about it. Approximately how much of the EverQuest world have you experienced? 99% of it... I've been in pretty much every zone except for Demi-Plane of Blood. What is your favourite expansion? The Serpent's Spine! because it offered the bestest dagger graphic ever, Embershank! What is your least favourite expansion? The latest one, Secrets of Faydwer, cause of the insane amount of factions involved this time around =( What is your favourite zone? Greater Faydark, nothing like relaxing in the forest, slaughtering the wood-elves! What is your favourite NPC? Overseer of the Cryptguard, 'cause he drops Etched Obsidian Shard! What is your favourite raid encounter (if different from NPC)? All of Plane of Time, 'cause it was my first real major raid. If the war between Firiona Vie and Lanys T`Vyl erupted again, which side would you take? Lanys T`Vyl, of course! Describe your most memorable moment or proudest accomplishment in game. Mmm... Probably getting Full Member in Ring of Valor! What is the largest amount of platinum you have ever had at one time, and how did you go about accumulating it? 2 million platinum, approx.. and I'm still hovering around there. just the regular lootwhoring in groups, and selling TS supplies.. well, and I got ~450k of it from a glossy silk robe and scratched hide arms! What types of spells, skills, disciplines, and/or alternate abilities would you like to see added to your class? Anything that makes me do MORE DPS DPS DPS!!! If you were responsible for organizing and running a GM event, what would it be and how would it play out? I'd probably run an organized shroud raid on Nagafen & Vox, and then /random out 500k to the people who are actually under level 50 at the end, also! (I love being rich in EQ~) If you had to start over from scratch, what race/class combination would you choose? Most likely a dark-elf rogue again.. cause I've already done that once and I still love the race/class combo! How do you describe EverQuest to your coworkers or computer-illiterate friends? I don't have computer-illiterate friends! What is next for you in the world of EverQuest? Hopefully beating solteris with my guild.. ** Pick the winner in a battle between... Qeynos vs Felwithe - Destroy them both!!! Innoruuk the Prince of Hate vs Cazic Thule the God of Fear - I'm a dark-elf.. so.. Innoruuk! Giants of Velious vs Akhevans of Luclin - Akhevans, they'd confuse them with their multi-armed tricks. Muramites of Discord vs the Drachnids of Darkhollow - Drachnids! Anything that's part dark-elf is cool in my book! Tradeskilling vs Questing - Tradeskills are my latest addiction.. Instance Zones vs Static Zones - Instances make me happy irl! Monster Missions vs Project M (PvP as Monsters) - Neither =\ Soloing vs Pick-Up Groups - I'd rather gouge my eyes out than join a pick-up group, so, soloing. Guild Raiding vs Grouping With Friends - Raiding! I raid for fun more than loot, I just love raiding! GM (real people) Events vs Scripted (computerized) Events - Neither =\ Arena Royal Rumble vs 1-on-1 Duel - 1-on-1 Duel, easier to sneak behind people and backstab them! Faydwer vs Odus - Faywder, my first character was a wood-elf! Kunark vs Velious - Uhh.. Kunark, I like iksars <3 Planes of Power vs Gates of Discord - Planes of Power! Depths of Darkhollow vs Omens of War - Omens of War, as I suck and never raided DoD. Bard vs Enchanter - Enchanter, bards just tend to be so annoying. Monk vs Rogue - I play a rogue.. so.. rogue, of course.. =P Paladin vs Warrior - I group with a paladin daily lately, so, paladin ftw! Allakhazam vs Illia - Tough choice.. I'll go with a tie, to avoid being lynched! |
