Besides EverQuest, what other MMORPGs have you played?
Well I'm old school. Before EQ, I was playing Aliens Online. It was a MMORPG based off the movie Aliens. You could choose to be either a Marine or Alien. I always picked the Aliens. I was Backstabber, yes they knew me well.

How did you find out about EverQuest, and when did you begin playing?
I was temporarily assigned to another job when I was working. I met up with a bunch of other co-workers. They knew i liked D&D so they introduced me to EQ. Gave me the book and disk. I was like a fish to water -- hooked also to say the least.

Do you know anyone in real life who plays EverQuest?
I used to, but not anymore.

How did you come up with your main character's name?
Well I wanted to keep it simple, yet set an example for our guild. So since im a cleric, DarkLife... Dark for Darkelf/evil... Life for cleric/healer. So DarkLife was born in my mind.

What factors affected your choice of race / class for your main character?
I think the dark elves look the best imo. I like EQ, the GFX look real not cartoony like some other games.

About how often do you play EverQuest, and how long is a typical playing session for you?
I don't work so I can spend all day if I want. But most often the pattern has been 4-6 days a week. Each day can range from a min of 2hr to a max of 8 or 10hr a day.

How do you spend your time in game?
I really like this cleric class. Since I'm at max level now I like to bounce between PoK and Guild Hall just buffing and rezzing. AA's are fun but I like levels. Levels are more time consuming.

What other class/race combinations have you levelled past 35?
I have played a Rogue 70 Half Elf w/Epic, Cleric 65 Dark Elf, Berzerker 55 Cat & Bard Wood Elf 35.

Approximately how much of the EverQuest world have you experienced?
Well after 7yr of play I would say that I might be close to 60% of Norratth or less. I'll see it all one day.....maybe :)

What is your favourite expansion?
Omens of War. I love the voice macros. I hope that one day we might be able to type are own sentences in and our toon would speak.

What is your least favourite expansion?
I dont have one. I feel each expansion offered something.

What is your favourite zone?
I don't have one. I enjoy everywhere I go: The sights, the sounds, the music. It's all good to me. If I'm on a computer playing EQ im happy.

What is your favourite NPC?
Jester of Bristelbane. I like the random acts they preform. Got me killed one time. Little suckers, always check your curser :).

What is your favourite raid encounter (if different from NPC)?
I liked the PoInnovation Dragon. It's a good fun raid for a guild. Nice zone, not very confusing.

If the war between Firiona Vie and Lanys T`Vyl erupted again, which side would you take?
At the moment I'm neutral.

Describe your most memorable moment or proudest accomplishment in game.
Killing epic mob in Kithicor, General V`ghera.

What are some things you would change or implement in order to improve EverQuest?
I always felt there should be a better way to communicate and the ability to assemble groups faster. I.e, if your group is in BoT and the replacement is in PoK then once the rep is in the group the group leader should have an ability to summon that player right to that zone if they wish. This would allow groups to assemble faster with less interuption and down time.

What types of spells, skills, disciplines, and/or alternate abilities would you like to see added to your class?
Just started playing this cleric. I love it, heals are for me. Well stop giving me damage spells, what do you think I am, a wizard? I want all types of heal spells. Amything! Different.

If you were responsible for organizing and running a GM event, what would it be and how would it play out?
No idea. Never thought about it, nor have I ever been to one yet.

If you had to start over from scratch, what race/class combination would you choose?
I'd make another cleric. If it was opened on Progression I'd do the new drakkin race. I love to heal, rezz, buff.

How do you describe EverQuest to your coworkers or computer-illiterate friends?
I try not to talk about it.

What is next for you in the world of EverQuest?
I take one day at a time. I would like to help many of my guildys get there epic, have fun and continue to watch as EQ keeps expanding.
