Engaged with two soon-to-be stepdaughters Besides EverQuest, what other MMORPGs have you played? None. How did you find out about EverQuest, and when did you begin playing? Had friends that played for a long time and one bought me a copy for Christmas 2003. Do you know anyone in real life who plays EverQuest? Several. Some still play and some retired. Met several RL friends through EQ. How did you come up with your main character's name? Name Generator, and I have made the name famous! What factors affected your choice of race / class for your main character? I heard it was the most difficult race/class combination to start off with. About how often do you play EverQuest, and how long is a typical playing session for you? Play time depends upon other activities in the week. I'm down to 2 to 3 days a week with a four hour session average. How do you spend your time in game? 98% of my time is grouping or raiding with guildies. I cannot image myself being a member of a guild other than Last Requiem. The friends I have made in Last Requiem are the only reason I keep paying... err.. playing this game. What other class/race combinations have you levelled past 35? One and only main ever lvl 80 Necro. Forever bots: Inherited a lvl 65 Barbarian Shammy from a friend which is now lvl 75. A lvl 73 Dark Elf Cleric because being a true badass is knowing that you have to learn the hard way. Approximately how much of the EverQuest world have you experienced? Because SoE was whoring out expansions so fast, I have not seen near as much as I would have liked. What is your favourite expansion? OoW & TSS tie for the top seat - plenty of content, well balanced gear (stats & effects), methodical progression, quests and faction were not worthless time sinks. Worth noting are DoN and DoH. What killed these for me was the lack of focus and effects on the base gear. SOE also screwed the pooch on chest slot drops in SoF by leaving off focus and effects. What is your least favourite expansion? Above all things I loath anything that resembles a monster mission!! What is your favourite zone? I've got ADHD so this changes from day to day. What is your favourite NPC? Flippy Darkpaw. His single minded focus and determination. They should honor him with The Fabled Flippy Darkpaw. One of his drops could be an insta-clicky "Illusion: Gnoll". What is your favourite raid encounter (if different from NPC)? I'm still waiting for the expansion where they come out with Soulsmasher Brumelin Badassedness. The event is a 2 million HP lvl 80 Necromancer NPC with a lvl 78 Warrior pet that flurries, rampages and life taps, and is immune to mez. The NPC is immune to ice spells and has a high mitigation of direct damage spells. NPC triple hits for 2k each hit. The NPC casts an AE version of Embracing Darkness and Grip of Mori every 30 seconds. NPC randomly casts Siphon Essence on its target, frontal AE Fear and pet heal. Every 60 seconds the NPC casts Reflect on himself. At every 75%, 50% and 25% of health the NPC casts Shadowstep. Whenever a member in the raid dies the NPC performs a WTD on the corpse to attack a random person in the raid. Upon winning, the loot table may contain a various assortment of jewlery and an uncommon Necro only Tunic called "Brumelin's Tunic of Badassedness" with 600 HP/Mana, 80 AC, 75 Purity, Slots 8, 12 & 13, +25 to all Stats & Resists, +6 Mana/HP Regen, +10% Stun Resist, +30 Avoidance, +5% DoT Shield & +1 Spell Dmg. Focus: Brumelin's Vengence (Worn: Increase DoT Damage by 60% up to lvl 85) and Clicky Effect: Brumelin's Furry (Any Slot/Can Equip, Cast Time: Instant) (Increase pet melee damage by 250%, Increase pet haste by 90%, Increase Pet Chance to Flurry by 50%, Increase Pet Crit Dmg by 50%, Increase Pet HP by 10,000, Complete Heal Pet on cast, Duration 30 seconds, Recast Delay 300 seconds). I'm modest so I don't want to make this too high end and believe all Necros should have one! This would be a good Necro 3.0 Epic mob! If the war between Firiona Vie and Lanys T`Vyl erupted again, which side would you take? Firiona's Double D's!!! Describe your most memorable moment or proudest accomplishment in game. Ding Badass (300)! What is the largest amount of platinum you have ever had at one time, and how did you go about accumulating it? I'm currently 2.4 million. Buy low, sell high. What are some things you would change or implement in order to improve EverQuest?
What types of spells, skills, disciplines, and/or alternate abilities would you like to see added to your class?
If you were responsible for organizing and running a GM event, what would it be and how would it play out? Gather all players from across the server to kill The Fabled Xegony the Queen of Air for me to loot the Fabled Vest of Phoenix Feathers. When Xegony lays dead have all the Barbarian and Elven women compete in a Girls Gone Wild contest to celebrate my new tunic upgrade. If you had to start over from scratch, what race/class combination would you choose? Never crossed my mind. I'm a Dark Elf Necro every day of the week and twice on Sunday! How do you describe EverQuest to your coworkers or computer-illiterate friends? "An Internet based D&D game where I interact with other people from all over the world."
