[Lucy] Format of downloadable fileFollow

#1 Apr 21 2004 at 12:55 AM Rating: Decent
Just a quick question regarding the format of the downloadable spell-file.

Comma-separation strikes me as very unpractical considering several fields in the database can contain commas.

For teleport spells, the destination has commas, for instance.

Using tab-separation would make it much easier to actually use the downloads.

The format of the file is inherited from Kerasota's development of the process which builds that file.

If you're using Text::CSV_XS to process the file, there really shouldn't be any problem any fields containing comma's as part of the data are quoted anyhow.
