No Serra? She's pretty creepy...
#5 Oct 28 2005 at 11:51 PM Rating: Decent
i voted for the hags as scariest; not only are they ugly *** zombies, they nuke you too hell before you can do anything about it!.
on a side note, i have to say the jack o'lantern/scarecrow model is one of my favorite in eq! i love those guys!

The hags are the scariest because, um, they're kinda hot...

Like everyone else, I hate the hags....mainly because they nuke the hell out of you. But as far as the spookiest denizen of Unrest, I've got to go with the Reanimated Hand....that thing just gives me the creeps.
#8 Oct 29 2005 at 11:11 AM Rating: Decent
Yeah the hags are nasty but the hand is spookier.

MOST FEARED OF THE SPOOKS HAD TO BE THE GHOST TRAIN ENGINEER & CONDUCTORS OF DEATH :)

Years ago when the game was young and gear was bad groups would find themselves on the tracks of death as the Midnight Express would rumble out of the mist past your group with every creature on the list above in search of noob flesh to feast upon :)

Easily Serra. Animated corpse of a little girl murdered by her father and waiting for her dolly.

I picked Zombie just because that's the model used but.. yeah... Serra gives me the heebie-jeebies.

Agreed. Serra is the spookiest. She was the stunt double for The Ring.

I have to agree with Suzycue and go for the Ghost Train Conductor. Back when the zone was crowded, pre-Luclin, at least half the time you would zone into a Trainwreck as the mobs, sometimes 20 plus, would camp the zoneline. It is because of Unrest that the term 'train' came about with partial kudos to Blackburrow and Crushbone.
I had to vote for the ghoul. The sound effects those things made gave me the willys and the little bastards always rooted me along the way to yet another painful death /shudder

Yeah but Serra is way off to the side in the underwater cave. I bet most people who have been in unrest dont even know she exists. When I fist got track I was like who the hell is this serra character and why have I never seen her before??

But yes, I agree about the hags. Id say hags or ghouls for sure. Hags cause of there nuke up to 400 or ghould for their stupid root. None the less, anywhere after 35ish you shouldnt have too much difficulties in here. Like ive said in many posts about unrest, this is one of my favorite zones, tons of exp (and maybe an xp bonus, i know there used to be one) and tons of loot. Get those weight reduc bags out.

Serra is totally the creepiest.

That was back in the day, they were a little less afraid of crossing the line, I guess. Corporate America took over, and suddenly there are much less Animated corpses of a little girls who were murdered by their fathers and waiting for her dollys kinds of stories being told in EQ ;p

Im sorry but I will have to say the Scarecrows are the scariest.... The Hag is not as frightining as she once was.. Old school players like myself will remember the original HAG.. the one that CHARMED>.... that Hag was more frightening then any thing there has ever been.... When someone shouted "HAG to Zone!!"... you ran.. and never looked back.. I was unlucky once to get aggroed by HAG while outside teh mansion.. she still hit me with charm and I found myself walking down into the basement... Not only did I make it out when charm broke.. I got to the fountains before I was slain.. (so afraid I was going to loose corpse...)... Once they changed the Hag and removed the charm ability.. she became less of a threat.. to me... but the laugh of the Scarecrow.. always creepy..

Voted Fungus... in reality those are the scariest thing... although miniscule in size fungus kills more people than Scarecrows or other things hehehe
