this effect from potion does not stack with shammy STR spells such as focus etc., and will not stack with the similar effect that you get from the fellowship standard.
The effect from the fellowship standard (standard of the beast) *does* stack with all shammy spells and will take you over the stat cap as well, up to +42 STR over cap.
the potions themselves will take you over the cap if you are at the cap with items only however.
