My Monk does anywhere from 300 to 2,100 per strike, 3 strikes total although they dont always hit.

It gets modded by other discs, does more with innerflame, killing spree etc. Nice added DPS, altho uses quite alot of endurance.

Why is this spell so much in baz? do they want a cookie because it droped while they were xping and rolled against the monk in the group that needed it and won?

For the same reason people are asking 200k-800k for the non-ranked Mage spells to summon pet gear. Supply, demand, and basic greed.
