Ok sitll Can't seem to get Zorik to talk to me past the part where she asks if I a Necro. If is say boots, robe etc she says I haven't proved myself yet. My faction is amiable with Zorik - what do I do next? Thanks in advance for the help.

Does anyone know what your faction rating needs to be in order to be able to succesfully complete the turn in?

you can't turn in for an epic to an npc until 51+ bottom line, end of story.
You can do epic turn-ins before 51, it's the final turn-in for the weapon that you can't do till 51.
actually you are both wrong, you can do the epic whenever, i got my cleric alt his epic at level 49, but you cant use the rt click effect until level 50.

Did you ever stop to think that some of us like to plan ahead? I ask questions about epic quests as a newbie to see what I should be saving for the future...I know that my druid as a lvl 14 has already foraged up a sweetened mudroot, which is part of her epic quest, so I stashed it in the bank...We're not ALL greedy, so how 'bout not lumping everyone into one category...Everyone was a newbie at some point.
You're not exactly right, and the vehemence with which you say it kinda makes your comment all the more ignorant. You do NOT have to be 50 to do all of the epics. For example, the Ranger epic. I can't speak from experience about the others, but I know for a fact that the Ranger epic is doable prior to 50. How do I know? I know someone who received the first epic sword, Swiftwind, at level 45. With a lot of help from his guild and an MQ of the sphere from PoA, he got it. As I said, I can't speak for any of the other epic quests.

i couldnt agree with the first post more, it is so irratating to get some 15 bard or rogue askin me to just mosy the *&^% down to Lguk and get his greedy *** a mask of decept, or risk my *** to get them some uber item that they have no business even thinkin about acquiring at there level. so true that they are blinded by greed, one of the best most legit gripes i think ive read here, and im sure the 2nd poster needed a LOT more help than a 41 friend. i also cant stand newbies that beg to be power leveld, why the *&^% do you play this game if you dont have fun hunting and obtaining items on a self pleasing basis, for gods sake have some frickin pride.

ok the items are the easy part took me one day to get the legs from kael and the gems but has taken me a week to get faction from dubius to kindly with dwarfs and i still cant do the quest anyone know how far i have to go to be able to do the quest?

Just got these the other day on Rodcet Nife, cast time of around 18 seconds, kinda long imho, but it does save a spell slot and that is fine by me.

I got 3 nephrites from wyverns in CS in about 4 hours. I got one more the next night inside of the first hour.

I just finished this quest. Torn stuff drops in deep Keal. You can camp that area with one good 55+ group. I emphasize "GOOD"! If you have a dumb group, you will spend most of your time doing cr. My group camped that area and helped with cr from other failed groups.
Gems come from Dragon Necrop zone.
Not a difficult quest, much easier than waiting for something to drop in PoG. I've camped PoG countless amount of times and have only seen the necro crown drop.
Take it for what it's worth.

You can get the gems for many of the necro quest armor items in several zones, including Cobalt Scar, Icewell Keep, etc.
Unless you're hunting ultra-high level mobs, like level 50+, expect to see an average of one or less gems per night. And that's just one of any of the 15 or so rare gems for any class...so to get the 3 nephrite could take you a month of play time, unless you're lucky or find others to help you out.
And the gems are the easy part.
The hard part is the torn silk clothing. That stuff generally drops off level 55+ mobs in Icewell Keep and Kael. You need 2-3 high 50s groups to hunt safely in both zones, so that's out of reach for most people. Also, the torn silk is very rare and needed by many of the caster classes, so expect to need some luck rolling for it as well.

Ok, i know this is kind of an old post, but someone please correct me if i'm wrong. The torn enchanted silk items have only dropped in kael, never in icewell, and never will in icewell, secondly, the gems are alot more comman than this person makes them out to be, I was hunting normal spiders on the ground floor in velks just last week and saw about 5 gems drop in about 2-3 hours, 3 crushed black marble and 2 random gems, think one was a CFE and the other was a crushed coral, some of the gems are also common drops off of mobs in CS as well

Yes..was in Icewall Keep and saw Nephrite drop among other various gems. The Frosticubes dropped these armor quest gems EVERY kill. The lowest level 'Cube I saw was level 51....good luck!

The gems are random drops off of several mobs. I know for sure many drop in Wakening Lands, as some mates of mine have picked tons up hunting there. As for the armors needed for quest, they drop in Kael, Skyshrine, Thurgadin, and Icewell Keep off of random mobs.
