I just wanted to post this, as I couldn't find the information elsewhere. I completed this turn in with "warmly" faction to everyone inside Thurgadin and I was "kindly" to the guards outside. I read elsewhere that if the turn-in NPC will tell you what items you need for a specific piece, then you can do the turn-in, not sure if this is true, but you do not need kindly or ally faction. I did cast collaboration on the NPC and was still warmly, fyi

No drop items can still be given to NPCs. They just cannot be dropped, traded, or sold.

the gloves ARE no drop. i looted them off a giant in Kael about 20 minutes ago (as of post) during a multi-guild raid.

when i said the gloves are no drop i was talking about the Worn Enchanted Silk Gloves... he Beguiler gloves are also but everyone knows that... =P

Yes, all of the non gem components for all the Velious quest armors, whether Kael, Thurgadin, or Skyshrine are no drop, this included the torn enchanted silk.

My group had the gloves drop off one of the Adjudants in the arena area in Kael this weekend. 2 pair of gloves and a pair of the boots dropped within 4 hours.
Last night I got 2 of the crushed topaz off of Sentient Armor's in Wakening Lands.

I heard the torn enchanted stuff drops off high lvl giants in Kael but no verification. When I say high I heard around lvl 50
The torn enchanted gloves dropped off a 53rd level giant in Kael in the arena area for me. Conned even to our 53 wizzie.

Vellium enchanter armor is quest only. Resplendant drops in the plane of growth. But if you notice all the stats on these items are the same, the only thing that changes for the ones so far found are the name. So it is probably a good bet the stats on this when the quest is completed are going to be the same as the stats on the one that drops in the plane of growth.
In any case, It's kinda nice to see quests you can do to get some planes armor without messing your faction by killing Tunare's court... Of course that would matter more to me if I didn't follow Solusek Ro. (If you follow Solusek Ro, don't go to the plane of growth. You are KOS there. Even though you can get the quests that send you there outside)

The stats aren't the same or even close, people just keep mixing up Begulier's stuff with Resplendant stuff on these boards cause they've probably never seen either.

Click on the link for Beguiler's Gloves above, and compare the stats to the ones for Resplendent Gloves. Then try saying again that they aren't even close.

Please stop posting this Respendent Armor for this quest....Resplendent has been stated to be found in Plane of Growth. The quest armor is callen Enchanter Velium armor.

Yes they are called beguilers gloves. the stats can be found by clicking on the link displayed above under the title rewards
