You have learned much from your travels and I shall help you, by providing you with protection from harm and the elements, in the form of armor.' You say, 'What armor?' Terman Underbelly says 'For you I shall make a coif, tunic, sleeves, a bracer, gauntlets, leggings, and boots. Each piece is a quest unto itself. To seek the components, you must search the lands for them and test the power of the spirit within.' You say, 'How do you make a coif?' Terman Underbelly says 'Those who are wise as we are know that protection of the head is most important. I may be able to forge you something most interesting if you were to bring me a corroded chain coif and three pieces of crushed onyx sapphire.' The post by Preal says it all. It is no drop, comes from Kael giants. The gems are tradeable however and often sold by players. The result of this quest is no drop also as the link says.

Does this use Corroded Chain Coif? or Corroded Coif? is there a diffence?

The specific name of this helmet is the corroded chain coif which drops in Kael. It is no drop and must say Corroded Chain Coif 2.5 wgt. Shm only. Bar, Ogre, Troll, Iksar, Vah Shir. I hope this helps you.

Actually corroded chain coif isn't shaman only, these drops are for all the chain classes which are Shaman, Ranger, Rogue though when they hand in they get a different helmet, not sure if they hand in to same guy or not, haven't looked.

So where does all this corroded armor come from anyway? Can you buy it from the merchants or does it drop and who from?

It drops in Kael off of Giants that are level 55+, it is a rare drop. I do a lot of Kael raids, and have seen 4 or 5 peices drop so far.
