To trigger this or any other of the corroded plate messages, say the name of a piece or simply link it. example- Soandso says, "Corroded Plate Boots" and he'll tell ya what ya need to know for the boots.

Was in Kael last night with a nice group me being the lowest as a 52 Cleric highest was a 60 Sk 60 war and we did everthing from vets to named with the exception of Protectors in the Arena and the Boots dropped off of a veteran.

Corroded Plate armor and all thurg quested armor dropes in Kael... anywhere in Kael for named gaints. I have seen drop anywhere. Tonight while my guild was getting ready to go to Arena we had Plate leggs drop from a gaint I pulled that was close to WL zones. Not sure if any of the low lvl mobs (40 and below) have a chance at droping it. But dropes are not limited to arena area in my experience.

The corroded plate boots (and all similar armor) are found in Kael Drakkal, close to the Arena.

I know that nobody talked about AC and about how MOST people think that AC is KING but IT IS NOT!!! AC MAY be king in some cases but if you are fighting a caster and your have alot of AC and no resistances then guess what YOU SUCK!!! So don't go around saying AC is king because it isn't in MOST cases. Just letting your know don't get mad....

Ok folks, I am ALLY, I have my Gems, now i am looking for directions to the Arena. I play AM mostly so Kael is relatively empty aka noone to show me, and no real groups to join. a quick run down will be enuff i know the town pretty well.

You just have to get with the right people/guild to do this. I take guild members to Kael often.

Actually, although that is true for the Kael/Skyshrine armour, you only need Kindly faction or higher for the Thurgadin quest armour :)

Same thing just happened to me last night. Had amiable faction, went to multi quest the boots and all he could say was I cannot aid you with this. I am guessing that faction must be warmly and above? Anyone with definite information would be appreciated. Live and Learn I guess, so another check mark on the do not do exp board heh.

I see many people post that you need amible faction to do these quests, well recently i got amible faction and he still sont give me the quests, has it been changed or has it always been that you need better then amible faction?
P.S. What are the different facctions you can get, scowl, threating, doubious, ect?

The indiff - positive factions are all follows Indifferent / Amiable / Kindly / Warmly / Ally.
Not sure exactly what you need for this, but think it is more than Amiable.

We do arena from the left side where there are minimum pat's/pop's. Two groups we can do any giant there from guards to named to the PoZ's. With four groups we can clean house pretty well.
One group can hold thier own without pulling house and still get decent faction/loots. Get two monks to pull Kallis and house effectively. I've spent more arena hours than one would actually want to there so we have a pretty oiled guild when it comes to area. Expecially, when your on CoV faction.

I scoff when you say 50 people or 4 groups, as I solo the arena routinely. 60 Enchanter.

I see people posting it takes 50 people or 4 groups to do the arena. Maybe for newbies, we do it with 5.

One balanced group of 54 - 55 ppl enouph to be safe in arena . Hardest part was enter to arena area , in arena itself each fight only one giand , slow but easy. We even killed 57 lvl veterans by one group and only ranger was killed when veteran become engaged ;((( .
BTW veterans have best chance to drop quest pieces , some drop 2 pieces.

It drops in Kael in the Arena (well behind really)tho any 45+ giant can supposedly drop it in Kael. That does seem to be the best spot tho.
Bring about 5 well balanced groups of 50+ to have any real success, 2 grps of close to 60 could prolly do it relatively well also.
