Warrior's Velium Vambraces  

Just got these last night. My guildies allready had two flawed emeralds waiting for me in the bank. Just needed one more. I asked all my friends to look out for if someone was selling one. Then one friend tells me she sees one on shady! What luck! She buys it for me for 62pp. I get back to thurg and hand in the stuff. I'd use these insted of cobalt cause they add stats and it's just one ac less than cobalt sleeves. Got the corroded plate vambraces of from a giant in kael near the plaza I belive, or the arena. Must have amiably or kindly faction with the dwarfs. Hail the captain, if he doesn't talk to you, then you need more faction. Hoping to get the boots and helmet next :) I gather most gems drop off of wryvrens in CS (cobalt scar) So these things must be heavily camped. BTW, it looks like fine steel armor for those who are wondering about the looks.

The best way to raise faction is to Raid Kael Drakkel. After 6 Kael raids I have Warmly faction (mabey ally after last nights raid havent checked) with Coldain. Not to mention Amiable with CoV faction. Hunting the Arena skyrockets your faction with Coldain, and CoV not quite as much but pretty durn good. Not to mention I now have 2 coroded plate pieces. And hunting for the gem's is great xp at my lvl. The arena is cake if your carefull. Really easy to tag split the giant's if you got a good monkey. Some of the Veterns are really tough (prolly gonna loose yer chanter) they Enrage and hurt. All and all its not to aufully difficult if your carefull. If sombody messes up your in for a pain in the **** CR especially if one gate's and summon's you. It's amazing how fast a group of 20 player's mostly 50 plus can die when sombody buff's the monkey after a 4 giant split. So I reiterate... be carefull =)

To clear up some misconceptions.....You need to be KINDLY with Capt. Njaal and hand him the 3 flawed emeralds but do not stack them....u get four slots in the trade box. An emerald goes in each one and then the Corroded Vambraces. Hit trade and tada!!!! You get a nice piece of armor.

Well from what I see. Most of you are not clearly thinking straight. Cobalt might have higher ac and has spells but most of them spells are spells a group would beable to fix on you. How many shaman str spells out do a cobalt str buff or even a druid for that matter you cant stack spells but you can stack spells with stats on armor. And at 40 plus levels most people are grouped with a healer class or you are truely insane. So there fore you have many AC buffs and HP buffs to offset that 1 or 2 ac loss you take from any armor. Its all good so look at the stats on armor. Its like I was looking at the enchanter bracers some one stated how lame they are because of the triggered effect reclame energy for a enchanter thats pritty lame but people failed to state that the bracers ac is 4 wich is less then golden chitten bracers and golden chitten bracers have 5 int 5 agi as well. it boils down to stats the more you have the better you are.

Iksar's are now Able to wear ALL the Quest warrior armour from the 3 citys' I have almost a full suit of thur and some of skyshrine and all of it is now

I Hate to complain but what is the deal here ! Once more they make some excellent armor only to leave we few Iksar warriors in the lurch ! Why did they create Iksar warriors if we are going to be left out of the good stuff, O well at least we finally got our crafted although it would have been nice to add a few months after RoK was released. All in all this looks like excellent armor just wish my Iksar could wear it.

So, where do the corroded plate pieces come from please?
