You say 'Hail Klom Jysun'

Klom Jysun says 'Pleasure to meet you Isola. I am Klom Jysun, Grandmaster of the Ashen Order. I have lived in the great city of Freeport for quite sometime now and have watched the city evolve and change. Nowadays though I am in charge of training new members of the Ashen Fist. If you are a young monk and are in need of some armor I might have some work for you. Are you a [monk]?'

You say, 'I am a monk'

Klom Jysun says 'I am always pleased when a new disciple visits our sacred halls. If you are [interested] in crafting your own armor I have a number of gathering tasks for you to do that will test both your navigational and fighting skills.'

You say, 'I am interested in armor'

Klom Jysun says 'I am very pleased to here about your interest in proving your worth to the Ashen Order. First let me present you with this Fistfighters Loom. Inside of it you will combine [various components] to form armor materials. Once you have a material for a certain piece of armor you will combine it in a Loom along with the appropriate pattern. When you inform me what piece of armor you [want] to craft, I will be able to present you with the component recipe and pattern needed for crafting it.'

You say, 'What various components'

Klom Jysun says 'The items you will need to collect are all over the Freeport area, some in stores some off vicious monsters. If you are up for the challenge though I will be able to provide you with the armor recipes and patterns for Stonehand [Caps], [Bracers], [Sleeves], [Sandals], [Trousers], [Gloves] and [Robes]. All you will need to do is tell me what piece of armor you [want] to craft, and I will be able to present you with the component recipe and pattern needed for crafting it.'

You say, 'I want to craft a cap'

Klom Jysun says 'A cap will almost certainly be your most important piece of armor you will craft. To create your cap material you will need to combine 2 Matted Lion Pelts, 1 Malachite, 1 Snake Scale and a Cloth Cap in your assembly kit. Once you have created the proper material take it to a Loom along with this mold to fashion your very own Cap of the Stonehand.'

when they removed 10-slot sewing kits from the game, they added 10-slot stationary looms for tailors to use for the few recipes that require them. Works like a forge/kiln/wheel.

The loom is located in the upstairs of Velithe and Bardo's in East Freeport.

i have noticed to make sure when it says cloth cap, cloth gloves, cloth bracer make sure it says cloth ________ . i was doing bracer and had a bunch of em. and tried to combine but keptd getting DNC. i finally checkd the items i had, and there it was small cloth bracer(or what ever it says again, it was late =D). so i went looking about and spoolie gee just happend to have a normal cloth bracer. bought that, sold other and viola, had the material.
so check the items first and if all are correct then it might be broken. i havent got this far with my monk yet. had him on hold for so long had to dust the cobwebs off of him. lol.
be safe and happy hunting

I too am having a problem with this quest. I have all of the listed items, in order and not stacked and still getting the "not able to combine these items in this container" message.

I can't do this one either. The only clue is that it asks for a snake scale, and I have Snake Scales. Never seen the singular form.

The cap quest might me broken or my other thought is that there might be a new kind of snake scale that is used instead of the old ones

I talked to a high level guildie yesterday and said that all the other quests work fine, but for some odd reason the Cap Quest won't work...there is NO such thing as a Snake Scale...never has never will be...LOL...so until they do a patch no Caps for any of us :( And believe me! I spent a good few hours lookin for just a single scale...Oh well! LOL :O

After you combine the quest stuff in the assembly kit, then combine the pattern and the new material in the sewing kit. I haven't been able to make the Cap quest work, but all the other pieces I have made.
