You say, 'Hail, Morgalanth Tal`Raeloen'

Morgalanth Tal`Raeloen says 'Who dares to address me while I am clearly busy reviewing my daily research. I sure hope this is important ______, I do not have time to waste on just any initate of House Spurned. Not a single day goes by that I do not come face to face with cannon fodder that is not even worthy of a headstone in our burial grounds. If you wish to [prove yourself] then I might be in a generous mood.'

You say, 'I wish to prove myself.'

Morgalanth Tal`Raeloen says 'I must admit this is not the first time I have heard someone say that nor will it be the last, however I am wiling to give you a chance. First thing we will need to do is get some clothes in your back if you wish to survive for any amount of time. If you are a young Wizard, Enchanter or Magician of House Spurned then I will present you with a [mystical sewing kit].'

You say, 'What mystical sewing kit?'

Morgalanth Tal`Raeloen says 'The Mystical Sewing kit that I have created is one that is able to fashion a material used for crafting clothes worn by all Initates of House Spurned. All that is required are Cloaks worn by Lightwalkers that plague our Forest to this very day. If you are to take my task and seek vegenence on this inferior group of Arcane lightwalkers you will pride your house along with gathering one of the [key ingredients] for your armor. I have heard rumor that they have tried to generate some kind of magic from a source shrouded by our forest.'

You say, 'What key ingredients?'

Morgalanth Tal`Raeloen says 'You will be given different combination recipes for whichever armor piece you wish to craft. You will combine the specific items in the Mystical Sewing Kit that I will give to you when you are ready. After you have combined the correct items in your sewing kit you will fashion together a Bloodstained Cloth of the Spurned. At that time you will put the pattern that I will give you for each armor piece you request in the loom along with this cloth to craft your Armor piece. I will also suggest that you craft your Breastplate last due to the difficulty of obtaining the items. Do you [understand] the instructions I have given you?'

You say, 'I understand.'

Morgalanth Tal`Raeloen says 'Very well ______, here is your Mystical sewing kit. I have the patterns and recipes necessary to craft Spurned Initiate [Skullcaps], [Bracers], [Sandals], [Sleeves], [Trousers], [Gloves} and [Robes]. When you feel you are ready to gather the items necessary to craft your armor simply tell me which piece you want to craft. The items that you will need to collect will mostly be found in the Forest but some will be here in town. As I said before seek out the Arcane Lightwalkers to collect the cloaks that you will need to make the armor materials. I look forward to seeing what you will make of this opportunity.'

You say, 'I want to craft the Spurned Initiate Trousers.'

Morgalanth Tal`Raeloen says 'Hello again ______, you will need to collect 4 Blood Drenched Cloaks, 1 Deathfist Legionnaire Scalp, 2 Bone Chips and 1 Ruined Wolf Pelt. Combine these all in your Mystical Sewing Kit to create a Bloodstained Cloth of the Spurned that is used for creating your Trousers. Take this Trouser pattern that I have given you and place it in the closest loom along with your Bloodstained Cloth of the Spurned to craft Trousers of the Spurned Initiate.'

Where are the cloaks ?

I am looking for these 4 Blood Drenched Cloaks. I have hunted in Neriak Woods for 11 levels and not seen a single one.
Any clues as to what drops them ?

From the entrance to Neriak, head straight south. You'll come to a clearing with wizard spires in it. There are High Elf casters ranged about the edge of this clearing. They drop the cloaks. Incantators are the easiest to kill, then Elementalists, and Shapeshifters are the hardest. They have a large aggro range and assist, so be careful.
Wow, complete BS

Ok, I went after a yellow arcane elementalist, at level 2. She PUNCHES FOR 14 DAMAGE! Gimme a break, a level 3 monk doesn't punch for that much.
Oh, AND she chain casts for like 7 damage. *joy*

I been wanting to create a mage in this game. I finally got around to it. I agree about the arcane elementalist being tough. Well at level 2, pretty much too early to start fighting these mobs solo. I pretty much waited. I started messing with them when I was able to have a pet at level 4. I tried all the pets put I find the earth elemental very effective, since they are capable of rooting.
Legionairs

There are three types of Orc Scalps.

Legionaire, Templar and Scout. All Death fist.

They spawn to the right of the bridge going south towards EC zone. There is a camp of them. The legionarres sometimes roam across the road as well as the Templar and Scout.

It all depends on if someone is fighting in the camp.

The Scout however does not spawn in the camp. He only roams.
Scalp drop ?

Faction hit?
# Mar 25 2002 at 1:09 PM Rating: Default
Does anyone know what the faction hit is for killing these "Arcane Lightwalkers"?

And what race are they supposed to be?

You get a + with The Dead, and - with Keepers of the Art, King Tearis Thex, and Faydarks Champions.

Where are these?
you can use a sewing kit instead of loom
# Mar 22 2002 at 4:19 PM Rating: Default
Yes, yes you can - use a sewing kit, that's all a loom is, except non-portable.

I FINALLY have some +INT slippers! wooo!!! yay! yippee - better than waiting for that god-awful rare spawn in the Queens Room of CC, I'll tell ya.

oh - and the Silk Underground is in the FOREIGN (first zone) Quarter of Neriak. (NOT Commons as mentioned by Captain Anonymous.) nearby the soulbinder and bar for the illiterate.

The Loom

The loom is in the back of the silk undergound in the commons. You must first combine the items in your kit, then the cloth with the pattern in the loom.
Deathfist Legionnaire Scalp

The scalp is a semi-rare drop off the new orc legos in Nektulos. I got one after killing 52 legos and others have reported drops after 40-50 orcs killed.

the loom

I combined them in a normal large sewing kit with no tailoring skill and it worked.

does anyone know where the loom to make these is after you have made the skin from the materials? I tried the one in foreign quarter and it opens as a sewing kit and tells you "these items cannot be combined in this".

The loom is in the back of the silk underground in the Foriegn quarter. You must combine the base items in your sewing kit, then the cloth and the pattern in the loom.

By accident I left the pattern in my sewing kit when I put all the other items in it and pressed combine. Strange enough, I got the complete item out in a single step without having to make the cloth and then run for the loom. Don't know if I would want to try this intentionally as hard as BDCs are to get but thought I'ld pass it on.
