Did quest at indifferent, could not get Shazda Kaekwon to talk to another char who was dubious. I believe can do this quest at apprehensive, same as heretic head quest. At dubious Shazda basically says you are offensive and go away!
Hope this helps anyone still doing quests in Stonebrunt!

I just killed him last night. He dropped his head and the ******* swoed. He was running back and forth just Southeast of the Kat village

Is this quest still active? I've been camping the heretics for a week and have never seen Rognarog spawn anywhere. Mainly I want to kill him out of boredom...I've received a dozen of those headbands and am getting sick of the Sash quest, but I've put this much time into it so....must push on till the day. Anyone know if this is still active? Thanks )

Yes - saw and killed him twice today. Unfortunately, the first time, the comp crashed at him being 14% and when I logged on again I appeared 1/2 the zone away (doh thanks VI) and couldn't find his corpse. However, found him again less than an hour later. Both times was up north end of zone near snow.
Yes it is till active, I killed him yesterday and got the Bokken.

I've had this kobold spawn multiple times at both highland camp sites. Only problem is, he's NEVER dropped his head.

His head they refer to is just a simple Kobold Head. Turn that in as his head and you'll get these Titan Blessed Weapons. They're not so great really. But I'll take the minor exp and faction if I find Rognarog anyhow.

I kicked his ***** BTM as a 38 sk. From a tank PoV, he doesn't hit hard, but then again i can solo everything in that zone besides Titans.
They own me.
But anyway, i feared him alot too, and he decided he had to keep running towards the kobold camp upstream (near the mountain i pull him from).
He dropped a "kobold head" and some other crap.

Heh I love tanks who say oh he doesnt hit hard.. like 10-15 BAH thats cuz you have 1200 AC heh try being a caster with a bunch of raw silk armor heh at level 30 with a 324 AC he hits for in excess of 60's... DMG is based on your AC, and agi the higher the two of these are the less dmg you take...
well.. a tank is really the only one that should be getting hit.. granted it's not always the case, but information on the damage he deals is much more useful to a main tank than to a backup caster.

Some have said that the reward for this quest will vary, depending on your class; you'd be able to use your reward. This is not true - you can in fact get an item you cannot use.
The first time I did this, I got the Bokken, which Rangers cannot use. The second time, I got the Tachi, a usable item. would guess that the reward is, like so many other things, random.
Both are interesting items. The Bokken makes my High Elf enchanter look like a monk, and the Tachi is a good twink weapon for a warrior. It's decently fast, and adds a little AC.
By the way, both times I tracked down Rognarog, he was a little south of the Cat City. And standing still. It's likely he stays put for a while before he begins to stroll.

35 War, just took him down, totally wasted him and only lost 1 bub of health. He doesn't hit very hard, 40 max and usually 10-15.

From the info the Cat guy gives I assume this one's a wander spawn. But where does he spawn? Not everyone has a druid friend handy you know :p.

Saw a double-spawn of this guy once. You heard me right, 2 of him up at the same time. Seems like a totally random, wandering spawn. On was down in the jungle near the Kejekan fishermen and the other was up in the snowy area in the NW corner of the zone.

Yes, I found two on track at that same location just SW of the village
I killed him not far from the Highland Gnoll camp in the NW corner of the zone - but he was coming from the south-west, so he doesn't necessarily spawn near there.

I got a titan blessed bokken. 7/32 2hb 4ac 10hp.
seemed like it was melee classes but not too sure and don't quote me on exact stats those are approximate from me memory

I believe that the peacekeepers is the faction the 'Ancients' or 'Titans' are on. The wandering Giant mobs that seem to lose same faction as the cats

there is a way to raise faction with the temple it is a letter guest from a guy in a cell in Warrens can't remember his name but all you do is bring the letter to a girl in the temple and you get raise faction and some coin i think i got with it only did it 1 time to see what you got for it he is in the cell on left as you are going down into Warrens. Then girl you give it to i think gives another part of quest but my faction was not good enough to get it.

Peacekeepers is actually one of the oldest factions in the game. Its the faction for the members of the Temple of Divine Light (followers of Quellious) in Erudin. Its not as well known as many other factions due to the fact that prior to The Warrens, there was no way for outsiders to raise faction with that particular group, and to the best of my knowledge, there are currently no quests that lower faction with that group.

The reward for this quest is probably random as i recived a Titan Blessed Bokken and 2pp, 12gp, 4sp, and 11cp. Faction Raised was Kejek Village (the cat people) and Peace Keepers. Im not sure if this guy has alot of HP's and heals fast or just heals fast but i couldnt take him down alone as a 32nd level druid and he was blue to me, still had half Hp's when i went OOM

what i get from giving Shazda Kaekwon a kobold head is a 2hb magic, 7dmg 32delay 4ac 10hp, not too bad for me to practice 2hb =P

The item reward is pretty mookie for the level. Some one (level 40, Rog was blue to him) did the quest and sold the Tachi to the merchants for 4 plat. I bought it back for 13 and twinked my alt with it. Would have used it myself but I already had a better one. =P

i did this quest today. it is well worth the effort and brings my faction with the cat people from indiffrent to aimabale. the reward was ok it was a 6/24 2ac +5hp 1hs named a titan blessed tachi.
