You can find Elmara at /waypoint 541, -1296, 328, near the Laurion Inn door. She is on the find tool as well CTRL F. You say, 'Hail, Elmara Emberclaw' Elmara Emberclaw says, 'Ah! It's the Dark Elf I've heard so much about. I didn't believe it when I heard there are newcomers at Laurion Inn. It's been centuries since anyone joined us. I was reluctant to let you enter my domain, but you've proven to be a friend to my allies. Welcome to the Hero's Forge, Renana. It's nice to finally meet you, although I suspect you've already met me. A [version] of me, at least.' You say, 'I have seen a version of you in others' memories.' Elmara Emberclaw says, 'The residents of Laurion Inn love to revel in past memories, so you are sure to see former versions of us all. I, however, am not so fond of reliving the past. I'd much rather anchor myself in the present and in my duties at the [Hero's Forge].' You say, 'What is the Hero's Forge?' Elmara Emberclaw says, 'The Hero's Forge is my passion and purpose. I believe anyone can be a hero, but not everyone has the tools to do so. I design armor, weapons, and other tools to help empower those people. There is one design I've made more than any other -- maybe you've come across it in your travels. I heard that it's been dubbed '[defiant gear]' outside of my realm.' You say, 'I've seen defiant gear.' Elmara Emberclaw says, 'That makes my heart soar. My forgebound workers craft it, then my phoenixes [deliver] it to Norrath and beyond. Although people have, for a long time, been unable to enter the Realm of Heroes, there is a small crack in my domain above the mountain. My phoenixes travel through that gap for their deliveries.' You say, 'Who do they deliver to?' Elmara Emberclaw says, 'My phoenixes leave defiant gear in all corners of your world. There is always someone in need. Enjoy the Hero's Forge, and be careful around the creatures. They get combative when they think someone's interfering with operations. Every creature in my realm resurrects itself, so I don't mind you sparring with them. Let me know if you have any questions, or are looking for [work] to do.' You say, 'What work do you need done?' Elmara Emberclaw says, 'It would be a big help if you gathered raw [materials] for a new design I'm drafting. Everything I need can be found around the area. As a bonus for helping me, I'll let you be the first to test my new item!' You say, 'What materials do you need?' You have been assigned the task 'Heroic Errand Runner'. Elmara Emberclaw beams at you. 'We're going to get along, Renana. I need a handful of components for my design: A piece of orchidium, a sliver of glitterine, and a shard of illumiaz. You can find all of these minerals in the mine to the west. The mine is filled with creatures I call 'gemforms.' They usually collect the minerals and send them up in a minecart, but I haven't received any lately. It should be easy for you to find what I need. Orchidium is a purple gem, glitterine is gold, and illumiaz is clear. Fragments can be found along the ground in the mine. The gemforms might put up a fight, but I'm sure it's nothing you can't handle.' Elmara Emberclaw is delighted by your offer to help with her latest creation. She needs a variety of materials to finish the design, and as a reward for helping her, she’ll let you be the first to try the new item. Elmara Emberclaw needs a piece of orchidium, a sliver of glitterine, and a shard of illumiaz. All of these materials are in the mine to the west. Piece of Orchidium can be found throughout the caves. They are a glowing white little crystal ground spawn near the big purple crystals. Here are some ground spawn locations: /way 1093, 639, 40 /way 1263, 743, 54 /way 1357, 882, 53 /way 1559, 951, 54 Sliver of Glitterine can be found throughout the caves. They are a glowing yellow color that looks almost like corn sticking up, it looks sharp like a knife. Here are some ground spawn locations: /way 1101, 685, 35 /way 1403, 929, 53 Shard of Illumiaz can be found throughout the caves. They are a glowing white color among other white glowing crystals on the ground. They almost look like corn sticking up, it looks sharp like a knife. Your task 'Heroic Errand Runner' has been updated. Elmara Emberclaw smiles sheepishly. 'It's selfish. I love journaling, but I'm almost out of ink and my quill has gotten dull. I've been so busy that I haven't replenished my supplies. I make ink using red pyreberries that grow on bushes all over the forest. For quills, I use phoenix feathers. Phoenix fledglings have the best sized ones for writing. Unfortunately, they don't let you simply pluck one. You'll have to fight a few to get a good feather....' She looks embarrassed. 'Don't look at me like that! Phoenixes always come back to life after you fight them. Nothing to feel guilty about.' Pyreberries are red berries found on bushes that grow around the foilage in the forest. They are a mix of green and red. Here are some ground spawn locations: /way 288, -166, 35 /way -323, -824, 3 /way 273, -667, 3 /way -1086, -1138, 8 /way 291, -168, 36 Pheonix Feather Quill drop off the Phoenix's in the upper west side of the zone going up the winding road. 'Ta-dah! I call them 'transfrogifying hoops.' You put the hoop around a creature and that creature should transform into a frog. The keyword in that sentence is 'should.' I haven't tested the [hoops], but I'm hoping you'd be interested in helping?' You say, 'I can try using the hoops.' You have been given: Transfrogifying Hoops Your task 'Heroic Errand Runner' has been updated. Elmara Emberclaw says, 'Fabulous. Would you mind testing them on the reborn soldiers that wander the forest? Once you've picked your target, try putting the hoop around them. Ideally, they'll turn into little frogs. Much easier to fight, right? I implore you to not put them on yourself or any of my workers. We don't know what side effects the hoops will have.' Test the transfrogifying hoops on reborn warriors, wizards, or berserkers in the area. Three repeated trials should be enough data for Elmara. Pick any of the three, it can be 3 of the same. Right click the item on them, it turns them into a frog and then kill them. If you right click on an already transformed reborn, it will not allow it and you will see, "Elmira told you to only use these on reborn warriors, wizards or berserkers!" If you dispel the frog illusion, then you can right click anyone's hoops again to get credit for this step. You offered 1 Transfrogifying Hoops to Elmara Emberclaw. Your task 'Heroic Errand Runner' has been updated. Elmara Emberclaw appears pleased. You receive 7 copper . You receive 6 silver . You receive 6 gold . You receive 141 platinum . While you can get the quest at a lower level, you must be level 120 to use the loops in the last portion of the quest.

Tri-boxing with mercs.
Picked one mob, cast it on him, let the mercs tank him. Dispelled, clicked, dispelled, clicked. Done on each character well inside a minute. At the end I mezzed, blurred, and went back to campfire by Elmara

She says it, but I didn't catch it until coming back here after killing around a dozen including just 2 fledglings and getting 2 quills. Then another 5-6 fledglings and nada. Updating this while I sit on a 2-spawn camp hoping next round I'll get my last quill. Killed all the fledglings up to the magic tree. Done exploring, just gonna goof off between spawns. :D
