Asteinnon Fe`Dhar is located in a room just beyond the maze, immediately to your left once you've ported into the giant staircase section.

You say, 'Hail, Asteinnon Fe`Dhar'

Asteinnon Fe`Dhar speaks in a deep tone, 'Greetings. I wish to speak only to a shaman, so I might aid them with protection from the world in the form of armor.'

You say, 'What armor?'

Asteinnon Fe`Dhar says 'For you I shall make a coif, breastplate, sleeves, bracers, gauntlets, leggings, and boots. Each piece is a quest unto itself. To seek the components, you must search the lands for them and test the power of the spirit within.'

You say, 'What coif?'

Asteinnon Fe`Dhar says 'The coif I shall make will be comprised of an unadorned chain coif and three crushed onyx sapphires. I shall be waiting.'

Gems are dropped off various NPCs in Velketor's Labyrinth, Siren's Grotto, Cobalt Scar and The Wakening Land. Unadorned chain armor is dropped randomly in the Halls of Testing inside the Temple of Veeshan.

Bring the three gems and armor piece back and in exchange, you'll receive your reward, experience and faction.

This helm has no graphic. Does anyone know please if you can do the custom helm quest and get a graphic for it? Or have any information regarding why it doesn't have a graphic.

I completed this yesterday. They have now fixed the words that Asteinnon speaks. He correctly asks for three crushed onyx saphires now.

I did this quest this past weekend. I can confirm that the quest requires an unadorned chain coif and three Crushed Onyx Sapphire.

I just got my helm last night and it is definitly crushed onyx sapphires and not the flame opals.
