Qynydd Fe`Dhar is located in a room just beyond the maze, immediately to your left once you've ported into the giant staircase section.
You say, 'Hail, Qynydd Fe`Dhar' Qynydd Fe`Dhar says 'Greetings to you. I seek one who calls himself a druid. What do you call yourself, manling?' You say, 'I am a druid' Qynydd Fe`Dhar says 'Good. I had hoped you were one. As nature's guardian, you fight the never-ending struggle against those who seek to defile it. It is an admirable quality and I wish to aid you. I will provide you with a cap, a tunic, sleeves, bracers, gloves, leggings and boots.' You say, 'What boots?' Qynydd Fe`Dhar says 'Even the swiftest feet need protection so I shall provide you with these. They should help. Acquire a pair of unadorned boots and a set of three crushed flame emeralds and a new set of boots will be yours.' Gems are dropped off various NPCs in Velketor's Labyrinth, Siren's Grotto, Cobalt Scar and The Wakening Land. Unadorned leather armor is dropped randomly in the Halls of Testing inside the Temple of Veeshan. Bring the three gems and armor piece back and in exchange, you'll receive your reward, experience and faction. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Right after the maze, before the steps its the first room on the left.

Posted: Jan 13 2002 at 2:14 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Since luclin came out, I never use sow anymore. SoE is faster than SoW, lasts 3 times as long (an hour), and comes with Lev (no batwing needed), see invis, and UV.

Posted: Dec 07 2001 at 1:28 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Ok look , the leather boots drop in HALLS OF TESTING IN TOV, they are for PRIEST classes if u dont know what a priest calss is LOOK IT UP, u take the leather armor and the gems required( if u dont know what they are LOOK THEM UP ) and u talk to the guy in skyshrine he will tell u he wants leather boots plus the gems .. u hand him both and BAMM he gives u some no drop leather boots with decent stats .. i have all my pieces accept for the BP ... very rare ... these pieces can me MULTYQUESTED, but u better have like 10-15kpp for each piece not including the BP if u want someone to give it up for yas .. oh btw in order to do this quest u need to be ALLY with dragons... dont listen to anyone else i wasted 2 pieces of leather trying with lower faction ... the kael quest and the thurg quest can be lower faction bit not the SKYSHRINE remember that ....

Very nice boots but at lvl 45 gonna be awhile before I go to HoT. All the SS armor looks like it will be worth the effort to pick up tho.

Too bad TOV is like the planes, cant enter unless you are lvl 46.

LOL, yeh, I'd love to see a lvl 30 noob walk through WW, let alone enter ToV. Heck, I'd love to see a lvl 46 noob walk in here and be of any value whatsoever to the raid - helping to increase a cleric's skill in rezzing doesn't count either.

The SoW is targetable. Cast time is 6 seconds. It can overwrite my own SoW (I'm level 59) so I'm assuming it is a decent one.
The boots are the velious leather look, dark green, at least on a woodelf. So dark in fact that the only real details that show are the gold scrollwork.

Any particular mob? Are they laying around? Can somebody of a level lower than 40 even get in to grab the boots? are they no drop, so a big player can help a not so big player?

Oh, forgot to mention, this quest is muti-questable. Thats why option 2 there works.

The gems required drop off lots of stuff, genoids, drakes in CS, sentients in WL, etc. etc. This is tradable, if expensive to buy. My guild keeps a cache of them that we all donate to, which is how I got mine.
The faction you require is a pain. You have to be Ally to CoV. Lots and lots of giants. A low level could do this by tagging giants at the WL/Kael zone I guess.
The boots required drop in the Halls of Testing (HoT) wing of ToV. Most of these raids I have been on require people be 56+, otherwise they get eaten by the AEs. A three party raid at this level is dicey, but doable, if you don't mind getting wiped out once and a while.
So, you have two choices:
1. Convince your guild/friends/etc to let your 40 come along on the raid and hide in a corner and try not to die so that you can loot the boots.
or
2. Have a higher level character go along on these raids and convince people that he realy should be let in on rolls for his twink/friend.
Good luck on either aproach.

Ik where do we find unadorn boot , do they mean plain leather boot we buy or are they a rare drop like everything else.

They drop in ToV, in the Halls of Testing (East Wing). All mobs past the East door are factionless & very KOS to everyone.
