I was totally KOS with Tormax since I tashed him like a zillion times. I raided the arena in kael for 6 - 8 months. Then I joined this guild who were aligned with the Kromzek and Kromrif.
It took me 2 weeks of AE style dwarves 6 hours a night, saving all the heads I could.
In the end I think I had 6 10 slot bags of heads to turn in at the captain in the bank of kael.
Once I had turned in all the heads, I had enough faction to get all my Dazzeling Pieces.
And my take on the armor is:
Skyshrine Armor > Kael Armor > Thurgardin Armor

Since I have slaughter numerous Frost Giants in Velious, how am I able to do this quest? I guess the real question is, is there an illusion that will enable me to safely deal with the denizens of this city?
No, Velious is set up so that you gain faction with up to two of the three factions. Thats why there are equivalent quests through each of the factions. Im sure that you could try to reverse your faction, but this may take more effort than its worth. I recommend trying the Thurgadin quests instead. I'm not high enough level to do these quests yet, but this is what ive heard on enchanter forums.

For this Kael Drakkal quest gear, you will need to go to the Temple of Veeshan, once here it is just a matter of random luck on which monster drops the ancient silk peices needed for this quest, however I do not recommend going to this zone with out at least a full group of lvl 65 peeps, these monsters are no walk in the park!

They drop in ToV, pretty much any mob can drop them. We were farming armor near the zone in and 1 or 2 of these dropped in like 4 hours, so they are still rare.

I do believe they drop in the Temple of Veeshan. Don't know off of what, but search around all the "Dazzling" pieces... I know it says somewhere more specifically.
