ancient tarnished greaves drop in ToV, the legs are worthless if u dont turn them into the quest giver (Veldern Blackhammer) w/ 3 flawed sea sapphires. The ancient tarnished plate greaves can be looted by any plate wearing class. The quest is the same for any plate wearer, the result of the quest is just different, as in class specific. If that doesnt make sense, sorry!

actually, i believe he was inquiring as to where the ancient tarnished plate drops, not the actual quest reward, hence his asking "what drops the ancient legs".
also on a side note, some quests involve the looting of the reward off of a triggered spawn (i.e. Inny's curse, Kromrif Military legs).
either way, i've heard the ancient tarnished plate drops in icewell and also in temple of veeshan, dont know if either are true as im only 40 and havent attempted this quest yet. GL all
