I am currently in the guild called Spellfire,and we hunt in ToV every wednesday and saterday, all Kael Quested gear is apart of the quest items that drop in ToV and ONLY ToV!
People really should do their research before speaking up...
In order to get this armor you will need a STRONG guild 55+;
The mobs all have AE that hit for 50-400 every few seconds - i being a druid dunt like that all too much =P

The plate drop off creatures in NTov and East Tov, if u want Blood Lords it is in the HOT in TOV
BTW if u are under 55 dont ever think about it it wont happen. these dragons will eat u for breakfast.

Ok, I know that if you ***** up your Giant faction your going to have a pretty damn tough time getting any Kael armor. But can you get both the Skyshrine AND Kael?
I know it would be a bit insane to have both, but it would be sweet.
As far as faction goes, I'm kind of confused about the whole thing. Most posts don't give you any information, just repeat what everyone else said.
Can anyone sane please give me some logical advise on Kael and SS/CoV faction and if you can obtain both (fat chance but what the hell).

I dont know the answer to your question but I'm wondering the same thing. I want to hunt in Kael but I assume that isnt a good idea if you want a shot at some of the best SK armor in the game (imo of course).

thurg armor = easier and pretty damn good. Kael armor = best (in most cases) but hard as hell and requires lots and lots of time in fac groups. If you want to get Kael faction back up get in a fac group killing d0rfs.

Flawless diamonds, and most gems in general, can be found in Sirens Grotto, Velk's Lab, and Necropolis. I have seen one drop in necropolis myself and have heard about them dropping 3 or 4 at a time in any of these 3 zones. Just very rare

Can iksar wear this type of armor?

I believe Verant made a mistake with this armor. They now reailze that this is iksar usable and they are owrking to change it within the next couple patches. they are going to, however, make a quest using the exisitng for some iksar only chain armor with stats exactly or close to the same of this armor.

If anyone knows of location of Ancient Tarnished Plate item drops please post. I've talked to many, many peeps and looked all over the web and I cannot find the drop locations.

Been told that ancient tarnished armor drops in Temple of Veeshan. The yard trash in that zone is supposedly tougher then Trakanon.

I've also heard that the armor drops in ToV. And yes.. ToV was one of the highest, if not the highest level zones in the game pre-luclin. After luclin it still might be thoug, I don't know too much about zones like the deep and Ssraeshza temple, but I've heard of EXTREMELY nice drops from both.

is comfirmed that geonids DO NOT drop the proper gems -- cracked not crushed and they also drop no flawless diamonds
