Into the Temple
If you try to speak with any other Broken Mirror quest givers, you will get the message: Perhaps you should speak with Quellious in the Plane of Tranquility about her worries.
You say, 'Hail, Quellious. I didn't expect to encounter you here.'
Quellious says, 'Hello friend. It is nice to return home. I hope things are well with you and that you have no [worries].'
You say to Quellious, 'As a goddess of tranquility, you have worries?!'
Quellious says, 'Even gods have worries, I'm afraid. I, for example, am concerned for my friend Rodcet Nife. You see, he has found a new ally, whom I have not met. But from my conversations with him, I sense an unusual amount of inner conflict within him. I sense that the source of this conflict, and even the conflict itself is unknown to Rodcet. I believe it is this new alliance. It is as if in his heart he knows there is something wrong, but won't see what it is. I would like to speak with him about this, but I would like to know more first. I could use a [discreet] agent to learn about this new ally, Anashti Sul.'
You say, ' I am discreet.'
Quellious says, 'Ah, thank you very much. Please, be careful and discreet. If I am wrong I would not like to cause my friend any turmoil.'
You have been assigned the task, 'Into the Temple.'
At the prompting of the goddess of Tranquility, Quellious, you seek information about Anashti Sul. There is a good chance that some information about her can be found in her own realm. Find someone that can direct you to such information.
Objective Instructions: Speak with someone in authority in Sul Vius about the religion of Anashti Sul.
You say, 'Hail, Mayor Salvador West.'
Mayor Salvador West says, 'Ah, welcome to our fair city, Sul Vius! It is wonderful to see a new face. Feel free to explore and have fun. This is a place of infinite life and joy all provided by the lady [Anashti Sul]. Here we serve those that have been [relifed]. They have, after all, earned our respect and are the most worthy of Her followers. All I ask is that you show them the same respect. You may even wish to visit the [dead man's party]. We hold it in the circle outside every midnight. Or are you here to help me with an [task] that needs doing, or perhaps you are interested in a more [heroic adventure?]'
You say, 'Anashti Sul?' (This is the line that completes the quest.)
Mayor Salvador West says, 'Ah, the goddess. The bringer of life, the savior of bodies and souls, the goddess of eternal health. Not only does she give us our first life, she offers a second to those that follow her. Should you seek her wisdom, if you might consider taking her teachings as your own, you should visit her temple. To get there you will have to activate the skull at the very bottom of the great chasm. I can offer you to give the Bokon your name so that they will [allow] you in.'
You say, 'I would love to visit her temple. Will you allow me in?'
Mayor Salvador West is clearly ignoring you.
You say, 'You mentioned the Bokon. Who are they?'
Mayor Salvador West says, 'Oh, the Bokon? They are those of the highest order. They are taken from the living to serve the reliving. It is they that help the worthy regain their lives.'
You say, 'Reliving? Relifed? What's that?'
Mayor Salvador West says, 'That is our term for those blessed most by the glorious Anashti Sul. Those that have been loyal to the teachings and are deemed worthy will have their lives extended and be granted relife. These people are holy and should be treated with the utmost respect. Some, unfortunately, are not deemed worthy by the [Bokon] and must be buried in the crypts. Should you visit there, please pause and offer your thoughts.'
You say, 'Tell me about the dead man's party. That sounds fun!'
Mayor Salvador West says, 'A simple but important ritual for us, really. In order to better understand those that have been given a second life we ask them to speak, to tell a story about their previous life. It is important to understand the trials of those that have earned relife so that we have a better chance to earn it ourselves. More importantly, however, we must show respect for those that have earned it. It also gives us an excuse for a party, and who doesn't love a party?'
You say, 'I am interested in that heroic adventure that you mentioned.'
Mayor Salvador West says, 'I'm sorry, but there are some things that I cannot discuss with outsiders.'
If you try to ask about other tasks/quests after this point, you will get the message:
Perhaps you should speak with Neelo Leafwind in the Plane of Health.
