Just killed him, he had shovel in hand, but when I looted, nada.. Bah!

Thank you for the location Gilg. There he was standing there with the shovel in his hands just as you said. Loc +171 +532, standing there in the open. One blast of firebolt of Tallon and he died. Picked up the shovel and gated out. This is so much better than wandering back and forth in Najena. Thank you so much.

Well I decided I needed this shovel for my brother's young lvl 11 mage - so perfect job for my lvl 13 rogue - he's bad enough to do this.
Strike one - killed Tiplo - no shovel
Strike two - killed by a wandering Defender before I could kill Tiplo - (Two whacks on me for 157 each then just a little one to finish me off)
Strike three - killed by another wandering Defender but I killed Tiplo just before my head was cut off. Went back and no Tiplo corpse and no shovel. So I just Tiplo'd away while the Defenders glowered dubiously at me.
Don't want to try again or I will be KOS and killing lightcrawers for faction.
Now my rogue is bad and mad. Mage can go to Najena someday. When I grow up going to kill all the Defenders and they have it coming...

all of you brainiacs are so smart to say woohooo i got the shovel and all that blah blah but none of you have the sense to list where this guy is located!! shadowhaven is a huge zone with hundreds and hundreds of npc's!!!!
after several hours of mapping and labeling every npc, nook, and cranny i found this guy hiding next to a rock and behind a bush!!! you all suck!! heres his loc so nobody has to hunt for him the way i did!!!

does it ever drop the sovel? ive killed him twice with diff chars to avoid KoS in SH but no shovel

As any mage who has wandered by would have noticed...he holds a SHOVEL! Has anyone ever had the guts/stupidity to kill him?(I'm planning on trying him tonight with a 14 mage that I no longer play since I don't know how bad the faction hits are, being KOS in Shadowhaven would really suck!) Though I have seen cases where an npc was holding a fishing pole, but yet did not drop one when it was killed. I hope that is not the case with this bugger.

Killed him today with a 16 Rogue. No shovel, just negative faction hits with House of Fordel, Haven Defenders, and Traders of the Haven. Not enough to make me KOS or anything, even after starting out dubious and doing no faction quests.
