I just killed him after 30 minutes (Possibly 45, I almost fell asleep) of watching the pet kill him. I was boxing a level 68 druid with spells only to level 65 and hardly any mana. When I pulled him into the room outside of his thrown room, I basically just sat there and used aa's pets and skills as they popped. I used up two full level 71+ mod rods and clicked the manarobe a lot. I also kept Granite Stance RKII up the entire time; by the time it wore off it had already recycled again. His high hit on me (not the pet) was about 250. He did about 180k damage total to the pet with Granite Stance RK II. I got bored on the last 30% of his health and used the magician unresistable malo and then the level 71+ malo (it landed after that) and proceeded to rain nuke to proc gift of radiant mana so I could cast Rampaging Servant to speed things up a little bit. He isn't completely magic resistant, but he is VERY magic resistant.

I used up all my clickies within the first 15 minutes out of boredom.

Facts:
Summons
Not rootable/snarable
The guards in his room didn't add for me, the only mob that helped was Liorra Sha Kerrath and various grey guards.
Parsed his hp at nearly 500k
It didn't drop any loot :(
High hit on me (not the pet) was about
Enrages at 10%, but not a big deal
Respawns pretty quick.

SO, unless you're really bored, killing Mr. King is not fun or worth it unless you just want to say you killed him :)

one boring night

Late one night after killing a couple BoT tower mobs with some friends i decided i was going to log, casted origin ran to the tribute master and there he was King Raja Kerreth. I always said to myself one day im gonna kill that guy. The six guards in the room made it almost impossible to kill him in his room so i pulled em to the shadeweaver zone line, zoned back in and there he was just sitting there all alone. After about 10 min of fighting him i was dissapointed that he cant be hurt by my melee and spells were so resistant on him that i stopped trying after awhile. I just sat there for almost an hour and a half letting the pup whoop on him while i stood there and took the hits. I had really hoped he was gonna drop something but nope corpse just poofed a few seconds later not even a few copper , what a cheapskate. As for faction i didnt see any hits on it and ive killed a ton of guards and im still warmly so i guess if you think your tough enough go for it, was more of like something to prove for me anyway have fun :)

This guy is just for a lowbie citizenship quest for kitties. You go talk to the Registrar, get the note to the King, run to his palace, hail him and hand him the note and you're done with him. Shocking how little the main man around here does.
Fought him

I am Vah shir, level 70 shaman GoD/MPG geared, with almost 700AAs.

Played this game for 3 years i got sick of seeing my "beloved" king not resolved any issues after all this time with the sonic/owlbears invasion.

So i decided to take him on, with self buffs, no one was in zone so,
I root pulled the guards towards the zoneline zoneline, took me 30 mins to just have the king at shad ZL.

I killed him in 2 hours, He can't be hurt with melee but my pet could easily and my dots wore him down over time.

I chain malos/slow, Panthered my dog and threw in as many dots that land which one would land every 10 casts.

When he finally died i expected my faction from warmly to Kos but it didn't seem to effect my faction one bit, so remaining warmly.

He didn't drop any thing, i went to my throne room and sat on the chair looking proud of being new ruler to see him respawning 5 minutes later.

Also to note he does a jog animation when he walks back to his throne room.
wanna kill him

We killed this guy on AB server, the guy can only be hit with humanoid bane weapons and has alot of HP. We fought him killed him and were dying to see the loot, on his death he lay on the floor for all of 5 seconds and then dissapeared. I think it must be something to with him being a quest mob with no loot.
yeah... kill him LOL!!

Wasn't saying "I" was going to kill him. But perhaps some guild with a bit of curiousity would bother.

Heh, If I wanted to kill him I would fire up selos. Hit him with a song. Run like mad to the pit (Staying with-in agro range). Laugh as my huge train of guards/npcs/King Raja tramples me in seconds.

I would have a friend near by to start chain Hailing the king.

I would have a cleric near by to rez me. (Or be bound in the city).

The mass of people would walk back leaving only the King (Stuck due to Hailing)

Circle kite the lone King. (And get creamed when he summons me then quads for a few hundread).

Hey, Would get him solo. Would just need an appropriate raid crew. =)

Out of curiosity, I pulled him roughly the same way. Instead of dying, however, I ran him and the train of guards (which was rather huge) to the Shadeweaver's zoneout, zoned out then back in again.

Unfortunately, the King responded to hails but did not stop to chit-chat.. he continued walking no matter how much I hailed him and he would not slow down for anything.

I pulled him back again, this time bringing less guards because the train had broken up a lot. Several times I repeated this (he is unrootable, so that idea was out) until there was nothing but him, his female guard in the throne room next to him and ne Khala Dun, could not land any spells (I shammy) and didn't attempt to land physical damage, just stuck around long enough to find out how much he hit for.. (quads for low-100's, his female guard seemed to be tougher attack power wise).

Anyhow, that's my story for the day. Perhaps sometime I will get a huge group together and do this for real.

Well we killed him with like 9 people and a few low level Vah Shir onlookers.

First:
We had someone pull the king and a load of guards to Hollowshade zone thinking we could hail the King and the others would reset. But the king would just respond to the hail and continue running. So we lulled all the guards that where targetable near him and kept pullin King to zone till he was finally alone.

Then came the fun part:
He was invulnerable to all our attacks. The only thing we could hit him with where nukes/dots/procs. Took us about an hour with our group of 9. The clerics with the proccin hammer did the most dmg, haha.

He hits like a wussy. After slow, we only had to cheal the tank I'd say every 5 minutes or so. No loot and not much of a faction hit, but a fun time had by all.
Heh

I am suprised no one has killed him yet. Considering Verant has itemized other city zones in Luclin. Wouldn't be suprised if this guy drops stuff.
