I am in the process of doing the druid epic. After I got the 3 items for turn-in to the withered treant in North Karana, I received the heart and the Treant de-spawned (for 2 hours according to the info under him).
I come here, find him up. I hand him the heart and get the following :
Yeka Ias grabs the heart as you toss it to him before realizing what it is. As soon as it touches his hands, his body convulses, a sickly light emanating from his eyes and oozing cracks appearing in his skin. As he melts into the ground, a small glowing ball floats where he once stood.
He de-spawns. My guess is for 2 hours... (I'm much too busy getting on with the epic to wait 2 hours for a re-pop)

I can't find him in SouthKarana anywhere. Do you know where I might find him?
He is located at the edge of the water near the most NE corner of the zone. Loc is pos 2335, neg 2352. Best bet is go to the bridge to NK and go East along the edge of the water, you should run right into him.

the edge of the water goes south and north.
No it doesn't. Its in the northern part of the zone. It goes from top left of map which is north west to top right of map which is north east. Its no where in the south of the zone. How nice that the first post you made was wrong and it was only 12 years late. She even gave location of the npc.

So if this guy is for the epic then what does he do? If he's lvl 60 then i'd take a full guild to kill him. But I don't understand what he does.

You give him the withered treant heart or whatever and he dies a horrible death, no need to have a bunch of friends come along.
When you get the heart from the withered treant in NK you give it to him. He despawns and the cleansed spirit of antonica appears in your inventory.

This guy is new I think. He is east of the bridge (loc 2330, -2345) on the northern edge of the zone, just standing there looking at the water. He did not respond to hails, nor said anything when I gave him some roots and then money, he didn't even turn. He conned red-indifferent to a level 25.
