i have the letter. i go thru the proper dialogue. he gives back the letter saying he has no need for it. whats up? im lvl 75 just filling in some holes that never got done in spellbook

A quick update, there is a little gnome rogue over there named Drevlon Knacknabber who hits for 233. The little punk jumped me while talking to Ganelorn. Also the odd thing was that Ganelorn reacted to Drevlon's presence but didn't attack him.

Yeah I'm level 45 and he's a red con on track so he's at least 48 or something. I suspect level 50 like all quest NPCs for original EQ, well most of them...

Just killed this guy a last night. I had a lev 51pally, 51monk, 51druid, 49cleric, 35chanter (for clarity and hast), and me lev 50ranger. He coned red to me at 50. The hardest I got hit for was 120, and that was rare, most where in the 30-40 range. The fight lasted less than a min. At the end of the fight the druid and cleric both said that they where at 85m, and the monk did use his mend once, pally never needed his Lhands. Did make sure that everyone was FM/FB/and FH before the fight started. Hope this helps

Ok, this stud here is a lvl50 ranger, around neg3000, neg1750...he roams a bit cuz he is hunting some notorious poachers. He is actually a quest NPC, not a monster. The quest he is for, is the quest for the 'gift' which a miniquest within the ranger quest for the 49spell call of flame, tho is cant be quested until 50, because you cant talk to the people about the 'gift' quest until 50, and the spell is NO DROP. If you need the details on the quest you can go to eq.castersrealm.com and look under quests, where out of the few listings they have, there will be the ranger:call of flame quest. good luck all...

This guy is NOT 45th level, con'd yellow to a 49th level cleric friend of mine, so atleast 50 or 51st.

I killed this guy 2 days ago and i need 3 min for this kill.
I conned blue why i m lvl 55 necro. Him have more hp than spiroc lightbringer (is a lvl 50). I think is lvl 50 too why him dont summoned me. Loot is 2 fine steel 1hs sword, no money.

OK, you don't have everything for this quest, because if you don't have the level you can't get the letter from the girlie-girl in Gfay. Without that letter, you can't get the gift, and without the gift you can't get the Poacher to pop for your spell. So sad....
