Half Elf Maiden says, 'What do you want? You do not look like the type of person the Baron usually sends to me.'
The key to her room is a ground spawn in front of Haggle Baron Klok who's located on the same floor.
Tayla is the half elf daughter of the human Brohan Ironforge and the late wood elf ranger Weleana. She was later won in a game of King's Court which Carson Mccabe rigged so that Haggle Baron would win. She was taken to Cabilis, and is now simply called Half Elf Maiden.

She didnt give any exp even though she was yellow to lvl 23.
she must be their servent

On Povar the Half Elf Maiden still spawns behind the locked door. There IS a key for it. It's a ground spawn in the bar, on the floor right next to the Haggle Baron himself. I just picked it up and tested it, it works.
The Half Elf Maiden is back in her old, locked room and no long in the water below the Haggle Baron's.

killed her today with my 27 shaman
battled her underwater
rooted her DOT DOT can can sat down
couple of frost blasts for 143 each
and applied one more DOT and frost blast to finish her - 2 bulbs of mana left. had to log or else i would have visisted her again

After a year and a half playing this game, never met her before today. Probably cause she used to spawn behind the locked door, and now she spawns above the water (where she'll fall in). All I know about her is this:
1. She's green to me (was blue to the level 26 warrior who was camping her for experience)
2. She doesn't respond to hails, or anything else I tried to say to her.
3. She was indifferent to me.
4. Killing her causes no faction hits, positive or negative.
5. All she drops are coins (between 2 to 3 silver) and ocassionally words.
Is she part of some undiscovered quest or something? If so, it's likely not one designed for iksar (most likely some brave softskin has to sneak into the city and rescue her, or something like that).
By the way a softskin rogue with very high lockpicking skill snuck into the city once and managed to pick the lock, so it is pickable, just requires very high skill (more than 200 I think). He was unable to discover anything I hadn't about her, though.
It's amazing that nobody's found out anything about her in all the time she's been here... unless there's just nothing to find out, and she's just local color, like I suspect the Haggle Baron is. (Note: just out of curiousity, I tried to figure out his purpose too. He just gives the "Ha ha! I love heavy coin!" speech to any hails. He was light blue to me at 42. Just out of curiosity, I killed him... lowers Cabilis Residents by a full notch (so I won't repeat that!) and slightly lowers Legion of Cabilis. He doesn't drop anything at all, not even coin.)

The maiden used to spawn in the locked door in the haggle baron building. now, she spawns underneath the long plank that junctions with the court of pain and Klok saas.
Her stats are still the same. but underwater battles put pressure on you.
1.) lack of air and timed battles if skill is low for level..
2.) cant press backwards - you have to turn around, press forward then turn around again.
3.) under water battles seem to get laggy on very few machines.
4.) Underwater battles tend to slide like your in an ice skating ring. So instead of screeching to a halt when you let go of the forward key, you slide about another 1/2 steps forward
I would get a skipping stone [ froglock skipper drop ] and throw it at her from the water and pull her to a safe spot. THis is prefered for non-mages
Mages, just cast a spell, the necromancers DOts and speed reduction spells are IDEAL for getting her out of the water if you wanna do a land battle

Just today i found her i found her spawning in the water now not in the room blue to me at 27 i kill her often dont know what shes for its funny

She STILL cons blue to me at 31. So I went and killed Klok Wyga (died twice, but short CR, she was still low on health) and dinged 30. Went back and she STILL conned blue to me. *shrug*
You can get her out as a spellcaster. Go up to the bed in the room beside her room. Now, duck or sit through the wall so you can see her.
Type "/target Half_Elf_Maiden_00" and you should target her. Then, cast any spell and she'll come straight out. As far as I know, no guards help her, but I could be wrong.

NOTE: you dont have to be a spellcaster to get her... Goto the field of bone, kill heartsing scorpions ( not large ) and inspect the telson. IF and only IF it has expandable on it. and a charge. u can use it for her. It gives poison bolt. There are other procable items out there but this is probably the most common and closest one you can get.

Here us how I get to her.. I have a few drinks.. like 5 or so.. and like the casrters.. climb onto the bed in the other room. Drinking makes the clipping in the game screwy enough so that you can clip through the ceiling and hop the wall bewteen rooms.. landing you right in the room with her.

I am a 38 Iksar Monk, and a friend of mine and I had heard about her, so we thought what the heck lets find her!! Theres one simple way to get in there. We were both monks. No lock picking required. Upstairs in teh Haggle baron there's the locked room, then a room beside it with a bed. if you stand on the main part of the bed, duck, then walk forward and manage to get onto the headrest, then sit, then stand up, then move forward you will slip right into the room. It's the same for getting out. Whenever I'm bored I hop in there and beat the crap outta her, she spawns fairly quick too, so if you wanna stay in the area, snatch some quick exp while in town, she's fun to camp =D lol

I've never seen this Half Elf Maiden before. I wonder if I'm just not noticing it when I walk in there.

I'm a 55 Rogue and I'm planning on working on my cabilis faction to solve this. You're right, if something can't be picked, it should say it can't, not your skills are insufficient, so I'll give it my best shot...wish me luck.

for chrsts sake, what is WRONG with you people? this is an adventure game! oh, a half elf. she must be there to kill, so we can get exp. she wont be in there for any RPG purpose, oh no. While you guys are busy powerlvling your charas and twinking the hell out of your level ones, us NORMAL people are trying to find out what she's REALLY there for. sheesh

i belive shes the haggle barons consort, i think shes part of a quest, if you talk to her and say something like "i am here to rescue you" or "i will bring you out" then when you get her out you can bring her back for a quest

I am a shadowknight and I decided to try my luck against here at lvl 24. I sent in my pet, which she quickly killed. As soon as she came after me I tried to cast Clinging darkness, but i could not get it off because she has a fast attack. She will be able to hit you twice during the casting time. Finally, I was able to get Disease cloud and Clinging Darkness to stick, but by that time she was at 1/2 life, and i was under 1 bubble. I got off my HT to bring her near 1/4 before I was slain. As soon as I spawned I ran back into town, looted my corpse, summoned a pet, and sent it in again. Luckily, my DoTs kept her from fully regenerating, so when I engaged her, she wasd starting out at 3/4 life. I renewed my DoTs, and was able to take her out, though it took all my mana to do it. She gives real nice xp at 24. I lost 2 blues when she killed me, but i regained a full blue when i killed her. Now at 25 she gives 3/4 blue bubble, and it takes all my mana, but i do not need to use my HT, and by the time i finish medding, she is back to be killed again.
Basically, I summon a pet and wait for FM, then i cast Vampiric Embrace, which usually procs 3 times during battle. I send in my pet, /assist it, then tell it to back off before it can get through the door, then i pull the half elf with Clinging Darkness. She was hitting me for about 54 as a high and 1 for the low, but mostly it was up in the high 30's. I renew the Clinging Darkness about halfway through the battle, and once when she is almost dead, to keep her from running too fast. Other than that, i hit her with a siphon strength early on, and life spike her through the rest of the battle. It usually takes a few minutes and all of your mana, but it is well worth it for the xp she gives. She gives crap for cash, but if you really want money, go kill rhino's in OT and sell the horns back in town for close to 3pp each.

Well I have found that killing her gives good exp and her spawn time is enough to get to full mana. Only one problem getting in is easier then getting out. I have yet to get out 8(. I've tried the ducking thing and it has yet to work

quiet you she gives great exp for someone of equal level. or just if she con's black or white. you can just hang it town kill an stupid elf gain a level and ruin your faction with some moron elvs someone else. and all in one sitting. it's a blast for iksar it's great c'mon.

If you go into the room on the left of where she spawns you'll see a bed on the wall facing her room. Duck down next to the bed and climb up on top. Then, still ducked, walk over to the railing facing the wall and you will go on top of it than press the sit button, still ducked, and than the stand button while walking forward. You will then fall through the wall and into her room. Don't worry she won't attack you unless you attack her. Shes around level 25, drops a few copper and somtimes words of... or rune of...
no good ones though. To get out climb on any of the four beds in this room and do it again. Any bed works that is facing the outside wall.

Yes, she is behind the locked door. Door cannot be picked, requires a key.

Are you sure the door cannot be picked? With a 157 skill in lockpicking I was told YOU DO NOT HAVE THE NECESSARY SKILL TO PICK THIS LOCK.
Traditionally if a lock can't be picked I get this message: THIS LOCK CANNOT BE PICKED.
Someone with a higher lockpicking skill should try to open this, or I will work my skill higher.

Well I saw this post. Tried today with a 200 lock picking skill. Still won't let me pick it, got the same 'you lack the skill...' message.
I'm 46. Once I hit 51 and my skill goes to 201 then I will try again.

Get a necro or SK to summon a pet near the locked door and use the command '/pet attack Half' to bring her out
