I have a 26 ranger that I brought to HHK for the first time. I managed to find a group, but there were no healers in it. We were camping war room, but the very first thing they pulled was raiders. I didn't bother to con the thing, as I figured it was about the same as the other pickclaws, and I thought I would be ok. Didn't know it was 31-34 range. I took out the first one solo (the rest of my group was otherwise occupied) which is apparently an accomplishment. But the second raider on me killed me, and as I was unbound I suddenly found myself in Qeynos again. So: owie!!! These guys are tough!
When I first started doing RR (raider room), I was running lvl 30 Druid with kei and aego and lvl 26 Warrior Aego at the same time on two pcs and was able to hold this room alone. Spend the 25-50pp on Aego and kick some tail. The loot is decent too, enough to port to nexus and get another aego with some pp left over with your aego wears off. the dru will root, heal and just hang back and will occasionally DoT if all 3 pop at same time. This sometimes gets aggro on the dru, but the warrior can taunt him off quickly. just don't let these little buggars run upstairs because one of two things can happen. They can train WR (warrior room) or the spawn spot on the stairs or even GR (guard room) or they can make it upstairs to guards and they will kill them for you and you lose the xp and loot. I started in LR (lookout room) with these two toons at lvl 26 and 22. In that room it's mostly lookouts or plain gobbies.

Ok I am reading some of these posts and lets be honest, ok? I arrived at the Keep as I neared level 26 but was still 25... got into a group of 4 in Raider Room and had the fastest experince that I have seen in forever. Dinged 27, 28 and 29 in 6 hours! Whatever experince bonus they have in this place it is incredible!
Facts: 3 spawns total. Yes, they can hit in the 60's. And their respawn time is about 5 minutes.
False: You do not need to be above level 30 to own this room. In 6 hours, with my group down to 3 or 4 people most of the time... we held the room. Did not flee once. No deaths. You just need people who are experinced and don't panic.
Whats Needed: One Healer if you have less than 5 or 6 people and you are below 30. If you have 5 or 6, you can out-melee everything in the room and rest up fully for the next spawn. This was proven time and time again with me (Rogue 27), Monk 28, Monk 26, Ogre Warrior 27 and a 27 Bard.
In Conclusion: AMAZING Experince! This is a can't miss spot if you are level 25 or above.

I have been in High Keep on and off since level 18 (31 now). I am a druid. Now as far as the raiders go, I've found that at level 31, 2 paladins (31) and myself healing are enough to camp the raiders comfortably. This is due in part because their spawn time is over 5 minutes which gives plenty of time to recover between battles. Now, I've also found that 3 tanks and 2 healers is enough to camp both the raider room and the warrior room simultaneously (granted we have run into some trouble doing this, sometimes having as many as 7 warriors/guards/raiders at which point we run). But these raider guys do hit hard (they hit me the poor caster for 66 66 10 combos every time, while the pallys usually take about 60 damage total each hit). Just my two cents, if you're above 30, 2 tanks and a healer should be enough, below thirty, you'll want a full group for sure.
I'm still hunting guards over here in TZ and i have to always group cause i'm frikin low lvl and a total noob. But despite all that i would like to say that raiders would kick anyone not grouping at lvl 30-40. Tell me if i'm wrong but arnt these things like everywhere with warriors too? youd get ure arse wooped on. Cant wait to group here though maybe i'll see someone around GL.

Well, I have been camping the War Room and the Raider room since level 23. It's not easy, and sometimes turns out very very ugly. These guys hurt. A lot. But if you get a group of 6 with 2 tanks, 2 healers, a wizard and a rogue/ranger, you should be all set. The tanks can take most of the brunt of battle while the rogue/ranger deals damage from behind. Rangers/Rogues deal it better when they're not being attacked, and believe me, they can hit fast!
Then you get the wizard nuking as long as mana allows, and the healers taking turns chain-healing/medding. Still, we usually stick to the war room, but everynow and then they send me (I HATE being puller!) to the raider room.
Yahoo. Good exp.
Threivenwry of Prexus Mediocre Warrior. Charming as hell. (watch out ladies!) And the only one to yell "EEEP!" when attacked.
I have a lot of experience here (Levels 20-35 in grouped Highkeep) so I thought I'd tell you what I know. First of all, I'm quite sure that a 34 would be annihilated hands-down in the raider room. No if's and's or but's. A GROUP of 3+ 34's is most common, and even then you will see them running upstairs (Subsequently training the war guard rooms and wasting everyone else) to get to the guards. These things hit for 60+ and there are 3 mobs in the room, which will either be warriors or raiders (melee types) or seers (casters that HEAL other goblins). My advice is get a strong group or be around 45 befopre you take them on.

Silly me, who had never killed in this zone before, was wandering around with my 39 bard, conning stuff for the heck of it. A raider conned blue and I didn't think much of it and I attacked. He totally kicked my butt! Even with dual wield proccing yaks, I only got him down about 1/3 before I had to flee... to which he tracked me down and killed me afterwords. They are harder then they seem.

i would think so unless u have a seer and u are dumb enough to not take him out first. P u will be in deep doo doo if you decide to try n take out the hard hitting raider...see a blue ring of light go around the raider and wonder why ur doing all this damage and he keeps gettin back up to half hp... kekeke.
I can solo camp the room with my level 45 pally. Get exp from all the raiders, and of course the loot isn't all that bad. Better places to hunt, but not many beter to solo for tank classes.
Do you know what the hell your talking about? A level 45 warrior would easily own a Raider or a Warrior, they aren't exactly lvl 40 you know, lvl 45 war has like 1.8khp easily and has a crap load of AC, could easily take down a raider... dunno what the hell your talking about
As a level 40 warrior I could take a raider fairly easy, lost about 2 bub health, but 2 raiders really suck. At 45 should be pretty easy but not sure how the xp would be, I got up to 3/4 of a blue bub from some warriors and raiders at 40, so might not be too bad.
A level 45 could so solo this place. At 34 I can solo take most of the room pretty easily. Someone 11 levels higer than me could spank the crap outta these things. The experience would be non-existant though.
