It's a hotzone aug. Random zone-wide drop from whence Gunthak was a hotzone.

Yup ran across them helping a low level ranger and found them, being a uber 80 necro I surived enough to get away and fd, but they did there best to tear through my 15k hp self buffed ,and pet held some back for a bit too. But as everyone has mentioned, why put high end mobs in a low level hot zone? Guess will never know.

So here I am buffed up with my level 31 Warrior with a friend who is a 30 Cleric and I am boxing a level 69 Shaman. I've been here many times with various toons so i know it's a good place to level. So i pull a Zombie next to the ship wreck there on the beach, kill it, go for the other zombies and 2 of these mother effers come along. First I thought they were regular mobs, since everything is red/yellow there and I've got DS pots and shaman and have never seen anything hit over 80 or so. So I pull to group, stop and turn around, and before I even make it all the way around I am instantly dead, they kill the cleric next instantly, and then kill my shaman in a matter of seconds.

A big eff you Sony for putting these mobs where they are. It freakin amazes me how utterly retarded your company is becoming. Very nice of you to put level 75 mobs right where level 30's kill that are KoS to everything.

A heads up would be nice, but that's what Clerics are sitting around in Guild Lobby for. Remember way way back when in Everforst when it was safe to med on the platform near the giant Orc statue. Ohhh but you log in thinking ya gonna kill some Mammoths. But Redwind and Crew are taking names. A little heads up please, that area is popular for levels 35 to 50. My 2 Cents

I leveled my necro here and never saw these skellies so I was very suprised when I went running down the beach and saw a group of skellies there with my ranger. I stopped and conned them and they were red so I brought my druid (51) and conned them thinking they would be at most light blue...big suprise! Why on God's green earth would Sony put a group of scowling, high level skellies in the middle of a low-mid level zone????

Seems there are 4 of them, and a Barrell (Greysong ship debris) near by. The rotting (and festering) Greysong Pirates conned yellow to a lvl 75.

All 4 agroed from a decent distance, and slaughtered me in a second or two. (granted I'm a druid)

They don't summon, but do cast spells, and debuff. I can't tell what class they are. According to the spells I mentioned to my guild.. they, or at least one seems to be a Wizard.

They do not see invis.

I was there with my 39 Pally just killing undead, like I did with my Cleric and my Necro, and I aggro'd one of these by accident.

This is how my encounter with these bad boys went:

A rotting Greysong pirate hits YOU for 1090 points worth of damage.
A rotting Greysong pirate hits YOU for 1235 points worth of damage.
You have been slain by a rotting Greysong pirate.

Avoid the undead side of the beach near the shore line by the wall there. There are about 5 of these buggers just chillin there.

These guys do not see through regular invis.

Zone into The Gulf to work my 40 mage for and hour or two. Had my 70 cleric with me. Headed over to the east side beach to start there and the following happend.

MAG: Hit for 750, 1233, 1088... Killed by "a rotting Greysong pirate"
Dead in less than a second.

CLR: Hit for 1233, 605, 750,364, 412, 751, 315, 1086, 701, 701,653... Killed by "a rotting Greysong pirate"
Also dead in less than a second.

I saw 4 or 5 of them on the beach, but didn't con them. I've been here a hundred times before and never ran into anthing like them. It looked like they have an agro range of around 150.
